[QUOTE="lolkie_81"][QUOTE="CaseyWegner"][QUOTE="blitzcloud"]What about the components? A 2006 card cant max out crysis for example. What i'm saying is that its completely impossible for a console intended to last a lot of years due to optimization processes (which actually work: look at years and KZ2 working with only 512mb of RAM, and in the case of ps3, only 256 for video memory) to be compared with a never-stop-evolving machine that has completely different standards depending on the user.
All PS3 can play GTAIV
All 360 can play GTAIV
Not all PCs can play GTAIV
PC is a vague concept to refer to an open-platform that goes from pentiums to dual/quad cores with no real guarantee of playing what the reviewer played, for example.
Dont get me wrong, I love my PC, but I feel the concept is too vague.

it's based on possibilities that exist. if it's possible that the game can be played, it counts.
 You very well know the topics and discussing s that go on in SW. The PC in no way fits the same standards as consoles. Yes it play's games, and thats where it ends. The PC has unlimited hardware which you very well know, but people act as if its games should be compared to console games on limited hardware. IT counts because CASEY and the SW communitysay so. This is the very reason why PC gaming is left out of 99% of the topic's on this board.
it's called system wars and not console wars for a reason. try as much as you like to exclude one of the systems, it still counts.
Thats your ****c response.;) Ive seen you use it many times, dosent make anything I said less true. It is, what it is, that is also why the Pc is hardly ever mentioned in this forum. You can call it "system wars" all you want but thats not what goes on in here on a day to day basis. We have discussions and the pc gamers come in and post crisis pics to claim ownage.:| Thats about as far as the "system wars" goes.
