I must say FG that the System Requirements are quite high for this game. I have a nice computer and I barely fit the minimum requirements....... When exactly is technology going to level out? I know they say that it takes a year and a half for the speed of the CPU to double. When exactly is this all of this going to stop? Wow......looks like I need to stay on topic......
Last Remnant is good.......for the first 30 min anyways......That's all I've played.
Reaper, if you're talking about the processor speed then I think it has been at the 2GHz mark for quite a while. I think Oblivion on PC was one of the first games to crack the 2.0 GHz mark. And that was 3 years ago. So it's been a while.
And I don't believe that it takes only one and half year for CPU speed to double. I think it should take a little longer than that. And as for the ever-increasing bar of system specs on PC,well that's the reason of the downfall of that platform,isn't it? But well,that's a topic for some other day.
I wasn't exactly talking about the processor speed for game requirements as much as I was talking about the processors on the market. I know that my stepdad's computer has a 3.0 GHz processor......I'm thinking it's a duel-core......In my one year of college I actually did learn a few things about computers I didn't know before.......and one of them being that it takes a year and a half for the processor speed to double and about 2 years for everything else to become outdated........according to these rich computer nerds and big companies that can afford to spend thousands or dollars on JUST a motherboard........
(This is what I call me trying to get back on topic knowing that I shouldn't have went off topic to begin with:oops: ) As for LR.......I should try and pick this game back up again.......but as of now all I want to play is Oblivion.
