[QUOTE="link027"]I don't think little kids should play M games either but that doesn't mean they shouldn't exist. Parents just shouldn't buy the games for their kids but I suspect a lot of them don't really understand it. As for the drugs thing all the really strong drugs (minus salvia because its so new) are illegal. People who use them are breaking the law so technically no one is allowing them to do it but they do it anyway. The same applies to drunk driving. It is against the law but they do it anyway. What I'm saying is though not caring about drinking driving (what other people do) is the oversight. In some instances, this being one, you really can't just not bother with what people do.I don't know why you guys are dishing on him so bad. Granted he didn't really back up his statements but some of them are definitely justifiable. Yes i know where is the data but looking around I think that the world is slowly getting worse. Something I think I can level with everyone on (maybe not) is, which you may or may not see, is that with M games there are a lot more kids playing them. I personally know of a situation where a kid plays M games and he has been doing it since he was about 5. It wasn't GTA but it was still Halo, COD, etc. I may be the only one but I don't think it is necessarily the best thing for kids to be playing M games.
Something else on the topic of letting people do what they want is, sometimes it does affect you. A prime example of this is drinking and drugs. I don't care if people drink, smoke, shoot up, whatever. The fact is though that people obviously can'tcontrol themselves. I couldn't really find great data for this but you can look further, we all know it happens and people do it, driving not just impaired but distracted, costing people their lives who otherwise wouldn't have died in that instance.
"Thirty-two percent of all fatal crashes involved alcohol-impaired driving, where the highest blood alcohol concentration (BAC) among drivers involved in the crash was .08 grams per deciliter (g/dL) or higher. For fatal crashes occurring from midnight to 3 a.m., 65 percent involved alcohol-impaired driving."

[Crashes 2007]Is the Wii motion plus fully connected locked and in the grip? And make sure you have the correct number with all the numbers. Also is this a legal Nintendo product?so my friend recently got a black Wii. We started to play Wii sports Resort. but every 5-20 seconds, his controller would disconnect and we would have to reconnect it. I tried reconnecting both and that didn't work. I tried synching the controllers again, and that didn't work.We tried new batteries, and it still didn't work. Also, when I went to add him to my adress book today, it said his Wii number is invalid. Please help.

Isn't the complete lack of M+ in any games actually what is making it seem more like a gimmick? Just some way to move Wii Sports Resort and that's it? No, because like MMG said, it seems like Nintendo mostly produced M+ for the 3rd party. Basically if they wanted to do something that required more precision than the stock wiimote offered, it was there. But since developers aren't doing AAA games on the Wii anyway, they mostly just dial it in to waggle when it comes to motion controls, you don't need WM+ for that. It all basically comes down to is publishers don't want to spend money on the resources necessary to build a M+ game.[QUOTE="Arc2012"][QUOTE="link027"]Personally I'm glad that Nintendo hasn't implemented WM+ in some games. Some games would end up gimmicky like if they would have added WM+ to SMG 2. But I don't understand the lack of RTS games there really isn't even one "real" RTS but the controls would be perfect.Sepewrath
And for those who believe that a Move game could possibly find its way to the Wii, I wouldn't hold my breath. M+ is already out there in huge numbers, if Move cant match that, I don't see it every being more than a low use option. So that Move game ported to the Wii, is probably not going to happen.
I'm not saying there isn't but I can't think of a game the doesn't have WM+ support that could have used it well.[QUOTE="link027"]Personally I'm glad that Nintendo hasn't implemented WM+ in some games. It would just be unnecessary in SMG 2 because they would put some worthless mini game or Yoshi Precision Tongue control.
[QUOTE="WreckEm711"][QUOTE="link027"] There is nothing wrong with the game itself but watching it is painful, soccer/football on the other hand is pretty exciting.roboccs
Meh, I get nothing out of a game where little of interest happens but once, maybe twice within an hour and a half
See I enjoy watchning it because of the tension throughout the whole game that just builds and builds. Then there's a goal and it's usually an awesome thing. There's also a lot of strategy and skill involved. I'm not saying I'm a soccer die-hard. I really only watch world cup but love it when it is on. The problem is there's minimal exposure here in the US so there are not many opportunities to watch. I'm with you, like our conversation awhile agoLike what golf?[QUOTE="link027"][QUOTE="WreckEm711"]
I'm rather glad the world cup is over, it was an annoyingly large block of sportscenters time when there are so much more interesting things going on :(
