one game that EVERYONE should agree on here is Super Ghouls and Ghost for the SNES. I dare you to pass that game you're first time through. I ended up leaving my system on for over 3 weeks with just that game in so I could finish it.
Nedemis

well ultimate ghost and goblins on the psp was just as hard ... but since its a remake of basically the same game i don't know if you can really count it

[QUOTE="AForceUser123"]

soul caliber is alot better then tekken

and dead or alive has no depth whatsoever.

thevarsmolta

Wait a second...Dead or Alive (more specifically DoA 4) has no depth? I guess it depends what you mean by "depth". But the fighting system in that game is one of the best I've played of any fighter. Tekken does suck though.

But, so does Soul Caliber..........and Star Wars.....................and Darth Vader........................and you.

Well if you are a fighting game fan, DOA (all of em ... including 4) sucks. Its not that there aren't combos or cool characters... its just you can jam on the controller and beat anyone. Button masher dream. And looking at what you say here its obvious you don't really like fighting games (so maybe you like doa cause you can mash your way to victory?). First and foremost both Tekken and Soul Calibur are awesome, but VF5 is probably the best fighter out there. Second, all three of the other games have way more depth (as in more combos, moves, and not unbelievably easy to counter moves in. Seriously doa is just who can counter more, not who knows the characters better) and are better fighting games. The only reason DOA is popular is because of the boob-physics. Third, and most importantly, Darth Vader(episode IV-VI) does not suck. At all. In fact he is a wicked bad mofo who should be in any game with swords. And hopefully he will be available as a dl (same thing for psn and yoda). And street fighter 4 is not being made by the EX team (they are all burning in hell for screwing up street fighter).

In a nutshell yes. I also own a ps3 (and a wii for that matter) but with all the excellent shooters (on top of the 360 having a better fps controller) I just had to buy one. But spend the extra cash. Cores (or Arcades as they are now called) don't come with hd cables or a hard drive. Thats a $140(if you buy microsoft brand) value for only $70 more (arcade = 279.99 pro = 349.99). The hard drive alone is $100. So buy a pro (or go all out and get an elite).

Motorstorm is a great game ... its like an off road burnout. It would be sweet if it went to 360, but since sony bought the studio that made it that is not going to happen (would have loved to see it go multi, since when it came out there were so few ps3's sold and would've sold a ton of copies on 360). And you shouldn't compare it to dirt, as dirt is clearly more of a realistic racer (technically part of the colin macrae(rip) series). Two totally differnent games.

This game rocks!! I am pissed about the time limit in extermination but I hope it was just for the demo .... The graphics are sweet and the combos rock. Everyone who thinks its just slash slash bang bang obviously didn't spend any time learning the finer points of Nero's abilities. Try knocking someone in the air, following them up, slashing the crap out of them then grabbing them and slamming them into the ground, and then following it up with crazy blasts on the way down (aka SWEET). Don't even get me started on Dante either (its gonna be wicked). Awesome just doesn't even begin to describe it ... Can't wait to play the full version!

First I've heard of this problem ... go to online instruction manuals in the network tab, select english, then at the bottom of the screen sellect support and send sony an email. They would be the ones to help fix this.

You know its funny how xbl users all sit there and try to justify why they pay money for a service that playstation, wii, and most pc games give for free. Very funny. I mean you can justify paying money for a game like wow, but come on ... I can play crysis online for free. I can play resistance online for free. I will be able to play ssbb for ... you guessed it ... free. Sit there and tell me all day if you want how xbl is "better", but in my book $50 (a year ... not a one time fee) is too much to pay for what should be a free service. Silly lemmings ... throwing your money away.

Well, the problem is not widespread, and is probably just the router settings. As far as I know, all my friends (both real world and on psn) have not had this issue. So its probably got nothing to do with the networks stability. Plus since the score was posted anyway, its not really that big of a deal. Funny how some of the lemmings here are talking trash about psn. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't microsoft getting sued for their online troubles?
