that's 12 shows, most of them are great(I've watch them). But out of what? Several Thousand shows? You can still look on anime as "total suckage" with just a few exceptions. :PErasorn

Same is true for all entertainment. For every good tv show there are 20 crappy ones. For every awesome song you hear on the radio there are a billion pieces of trash. Point is that there are tons of good anime out there, and there is literally something for everyone. So its not total suckage, you just have to find the ones you like.

When they enter a little boys room they both leave with an empty sack.

Anime is literally Japanese Animation (sometimes referred to as japanimation). The only thing that separates it from traditional american cartoons (such as titan ae, lion king, or any other animated movie/series) is that it comes from japan. Some ignorant people think that anime refers to a style of animation geared towards little kids (such as yu-gi-oh, pokemon, digimon etc) when in reality most anime is geared towards adults (not pornographic, just aimed at the adult or "mature" market). For instance, Akira, Princess Mononoke, Ninja Scroll. Each series is different, so describing anime is like trying to describe any or all cartoons.

Akira ... Princes mononoke ... ninja scroll ... spirited away ... steamboy ... and many others are all excellent anime that disney, dreamworks or any other animation studio would have loved to make. Just because it is japanese animation does not make it cookie cutter poke-garbage. Or do you think american animation sucks too? Either way the worst form of entertainment ever is easily referred to as the "donkey show", but i am not even gonna start to explain that.

Chuck Norris has no chin under his beard ... only another fist!

After a hard night of drinking, Chuck Norris doesn't throw up, he throws down!

Bottom line is that if you are talking about graphics, resolution has very little (overall) to do with it. Case in point cod4 runs at a lower resolution than say dynasty warriors gundam, but in my humble opinion looks way better. What really matters is how a developer makes the game to take full advantage of the hardware. So here is the real question ...can a pc game designed to run on a multitude of different systems look better than a game designed for a specific console(especially ones as powerful as the ps3 or xb360)? Short answer ... yes. Long answer ... only if you spend thousands of dollars on a high end pc. So, I will take my ps3($500) xb360 ($450) and my glorious hd television (35 inch olevia with 720p & 1080i for $700) (total of $1650) and play awesome games for less than it costs to buy a high end pc ($2000+) without even buying a monitor for it thank you very much.

almost no games run in native 1080p, they are all upsclaed....Im sorry if you cant understand the difference.

cobrax25

PS3 doesn't have an upscaler chip like the 360, so if it says 1080p it means it.

Funny thing here is that, with newer 360's and ps3's, there are 2 output options (hdmi and component) so technically speaking we can do multi-display output through a future upgrade (if there were a demand for it). But to put this simply, who in their right mind actually wants this feature? Its great for pc's because you can surf the web and watch a movie or something, but when playing a console game (or hell even a pc game) any more than one monitor is just too confusing.

Both of these companies have contributed so much to gaming that if either one were to go belly up, all gamers would suffer in the long run. I could live without microsoft though ... they really don't have any good franchises that they came up with themselves (even halo would have been created if microsoft wasn't around ... it just would have been for the mac because bungie was a mac dev before microsoft bought them). But then again, the competition between all three of these companies has led us to were we are now ... and that is by far and away the best time to like video games. And its only gonna get better from here on in.
