I had the CE DX+ version on Xbox 360, it's backwards compatible on Xbox One and it's super addictive, I agree these CE versions are easily the best way to play Pac-Man.

Star Wars Battlefront didn't suffer because it lacked single-player, though being a multiplayer-only game it sure suffered from poor gameplay design aspects. They really should have just attempted to make a Battlefield game and throw a Star Wars skin on it. The design of the game in all aspects but the gameplay is top notch, I just can't help but feel the MP modes and maps were rushed a bit.

The first game had potential but was awful, they try to legitimize it like "it's by the writer that made Red Dawn" but it's just a two bit Hollywood film not a profound and enlightening film about resistance, occupation, insurgency, civil war, or dictatorships. It was generic war film, black and white, enemies bad, good guys good, commies bad, 'murica! If they really wanted to get profound, it requires understanding of world, history. Look at Vietnamese resistance against French oppressors, they didn't just fight French, resistance groups fought among each other for decades. They also fought their own citizenry who had become complicit with legitimizing their occupation and subjugation to colonial rule. Having North Korea as an enemy is a little too black and white considering they're form of control, propaganda. The areas of the human condition they should explore is if there's some level of prosperity in submission, and how a resistance must rally people to their goals even if it means being at war with their own people. As we see in insurgencies that's often the case and there's countless untold civilian deaths. And do so in a way that gives a human element to those make those choices, not just write them off as brainwashed.

But, it's all kind of worthless to even discuss design choices when this game will most likely just bomb as being poorly designed from the gameplay perspective. If they should promote it, they should make assurances through previews and hands on access that the gameplay will be a solid experience, otherwise they should just delay-delay-delay until they get it right.

Otherwise this game is just going to be a shit game with a lot of PR spin to rip people off, which in the end would be ironic because it's a game whose premise pisses on the propaganda of dictatorships but itself is a big propaganda outlet for people to waste their money on their own band of bullshit.

please apply a correction, Doom 3 IS NOT available digitally, it is disc only backwards compatibility

this baffles me the publisher will do this and not provide online store with digital option, after all there's money to be made and they're just letting it slip through their fingers, this is just pushing sales of used games, it's not like this will cost extra to certify as the game was already made available on Xbox 360, it's not as if this will cost them anything more than industry standard 30/70 revenue splits which is easier to do through digital sales than paying out of pocket in physical publishing... so yeah, baffling, why no digital version?

I enjoyed the last one, general consensus with various reviews I read is it's more of the same with some improvements over the original and that's good enough for me.

This game has barely anymore value offline than its broken online, I don't even know why you're holding out here GameSpot. Drive a stake through it's heart and chop off its head and set it on fire already.
