We finally have some information from GamePro's new Halo Wars cover story. According to the magazine, the game will support two-player online co-op and up to six-player Xbox Live multiplayer. What's more, the game's working control scheme has been revealed, which you can check out here. The control scheme diagram reveals new UNSC units such as the Vulture, Cyclops and Cobras. You can pick up a copy of GamePro's July issue for even more info.

Halo Wars is planned to release in October. We'll hopefully get some hands-on time with the RTS at E3 2008 next month.

Is the 3 year warranty still going? because my THIRD 360 just died last week and they are telling me that my 1 year warranty is over and they want to charge me 99 bucks to fix this one. Calling them is a waste of time IMO I am trying to find an email for them to write too and let them know how much i think this sucks. So is the 3 yr still active or what?

Hey Guys and gals, Question. Sorry if this has been asked before but i really dont want to scroll through 104 pages. Is there still a 3 year warranty on the 360's? Mine died yesterday (my THIRD system!) and i called and buddy told me that my one year warranty expired in Feb and that I need to pay for repair (99 bucks). I got pi$$ed and told them i would call back. So is taht extended warranty over or what? I really don't think i should pay to repair a refurbished system that they sent me that now 16 months later has a hardware failure, My NES still works to this day for crying out loud.

I pay for XBL, i have paid the last 4 years and i will continue to pay. I dont think that 50 bucks a year is asking too much sometimes you have to pay to play. What gets me about XBL is the frigging ADS!!! If I am paying for your GOLD service, i shouldn't have not one single friggin ad anywhere on my dashboard. You want us to buy themes and then the ads cover up half the theme... Whats the point of that? Silver members should have the ability to at least play for free on weekends but have ads on their dashboard. Also i should be able to pick and choose what parts of the blade i want on my dashboard, for instance the Xbox now thing that is on the dash above your friends and messages is USELESS to me i never use it and it would be nice if i could just take that off, things like that would be nice for paying customers.

[QUOTE="Nocturnal15"]Pre-Ordering is stupid. I know people that work in various game stores or stores selling games and they say majority of the times that alot of the people dont even pick up the games on the release day. Pre-ordering should just be squashed. It is pointless. I got GTAIV, Halo 2/3, COD4, Assassins creed and various other popular games on release day without pre-ordering.bjimhoff

I couldn't agree more. I walked in at the midnight release of GTAIV and laughed my a$$ off as I was able to purchase the game with no pre-order. Well I guess they showed me because they were able to "just walk-in and get the game without paying".

And to the poster above me. If you need more than a month to pay off a $60 game, you have some issues. Job much? And if you're not old enough to drive/work, then you shouldn't be getting the game anyways.

Dude... I'm 30 years old. I have a Job, my own car and my own place. YES 60 bucks is not alot of money but when you live in the grown up world and you have bills and responsibilities you can't just go throwing around 60 bucks on every game you want whenever you feel like it, much less 60 x 2 or 60 x 3. So before you jump to conclusions and try to be "Johnny Smartguy" in a forum stop and think about it for a second or better yet try to bring a vaild point to the discussion for crying out loud.

I certainly have, and I cannot wait!Soilworkcob

I bought mine on Amazon cause i had a 50 dollar credit cause of the HD DVD Fiasco, so Yay i got Ninja Gaiden 2 for 9.99 but i have to wait a couple of days after to play it cause of shipping.(Grr) Oh well i think the trade off is well worth it, plus the few extra days will give me time to beat Condemend 2.
