Not in those 12 months. Big drop.

Odd I found this for 1986

The U.S. national debt tops $2 trillion up from $1 trillion in 1981. The nation's trade deficit worsens despite a weakening dollar, setting a record of over $170 billion. The budget deficit also worsens.

And 1985 has many economic problems but no stellar lessening of the debt is mentioned.

Democrat graph lies?!

Just out of interest, how did Reagan manage to decrease the national debt by $100m between 1985 and 1986? What happened?

Isn't that billions? $100m is a very impressively low national debt.

[QUOTE="turtlethetaffer"]

I think he is. Bush, while njo the best by any means, was not as bad as people say. Obama, meanwhile has gotten away with so much. He's hurt the US's economy more in the first 6 months of his presidency than Bush did in his 8 years in office. Let's just say that when Bush was president, Bill Gates could have singlehandedly paid off the national debt and have a bunch of cash left over. Not anymore. (I'm not saying he should have, I'm just using that as an example.)

Do you think there was only 2 Presidents before him :? Look up some history and then come back here.

He went back ONE president, TWO terms. haha

I am pretty sure you can argue extreme provocation and that you were not in your usual mental state (death of a family member) plus I assume you have no history of violence.

Invest in Australian companies. Australia is the only major economy to have not gone into recession in the GFC, we have interest rates still over 3% which means a strong return on your investment.
