The 360 has been a waste for me. I remember when I purchased my launch console thinking since I'm paying for online, it should be a top notch service. Then when I want to give PC gaming a rest, I can hop on the 360 for a similar experience. No, not at all. Majority of the games lag terribly. I remember Gears 1 was suppose to be the true transistion to current gen. The online was pathetic. Lag like I never witnessed. Halo never was never my thing because I prefer a realistic tactical FPS shooter with adults over 20 foot jumps and shields with children. I played the Gears 3 beta at my brothers at it was a huge inprovement. However, not enough for me to bend over an take a Gold subscrpition rod up my backside.

Wanna know why? Because Insomniac is a below average developer. People will bash SE and Capcom for mediocrity, well Insomniac deserves the same treatment. This gen they supplied rehashed R&C games that got worse with every new installment and a below average FPS thats laughable compared to the genre's elite. Now don't get me wrong, CoD is extremely average and only succeeds because consolites wouldn't know a great shooter even if moved in their house and slept in their bed. I will give CoD a nod for one thing though. It trys its hardest to maintain a acceptable fps which is mandatory in any shooter.

Sorry, but I find nothing reassuring when a "Graphics King" can barely keep 30fps, looks worse than than older PC games and is the epitome of linear.. People should get off the "Console Graphics King' crap because if you're relying on a console for top tier graphics, immediately get your head checked.

I can read quite well. Sorry if I don't feel the need to give lenience because the hardware is outdated. Especially since, what you can now consider outdated, hardware, was in my computer years ago and still triumphed over what consolites are labeling current visual kings. Enjoy the positives of your console though. Whatever they may be.
