So they take an Idea that they already had from Sonic Xtream, and they give it a low score because they find it too difficult? Yeah **** gamespot, inexperienced gamers complaining about bullshit.
Im going to say that as a person experienced in this, it's a lot more than most people think. Before I even got into the industry I had a friend tell me what it was like. She explained to how much shit was just put into the legal business portion of development and then the actual scripting, texture, animations portion of it. For the time she told me the ins and outs my heart dropped and I felt like I was choking or being held under water. Its easy to say what most are saying in this section "Oh im not impressed", "Big deal thats nothing special", "who cares", but when you're actually the one doing it with money and time coming out of your own or the companies pocket only being the 1 out of possibly 50+ people for several years you too will feel the stress especially if you're doing everything to the highest expectations. The bottom line is that this shit costs, and as the needs for more workers to shorten times increase costs, as well as extra hardware and updated equipment, more tools and programs do too. That shit is scary to deal with in the long run. No matter what you think or how someone says they've optimized something or found a new trick, they had to jump over several hurdles to get there, some on fire others laced with spikes tied down with electric eels.
For my brothers, on both the Ps3 and 360, if your character isnt loading try using Join Crew. If you do so then you will most likely get your character back.
Btw those having issues with the characters disappearing dont create a new character, instead go to join crew and it should load right up. It's worked like that for me since day one.
First Day couldn't log in fully. Second Day logged in lost character, later found fix for that. Third Day everything's working perfectly and I'm blowing people up with Jets.
