I KNEW IT I KNEW IT I KNEW IT. DAMNIT UBISOFT! If I didn't get this game with my gtx 970 I would be 2 years clean of their crap, honestly this company has gone to hell.
@Wesleypipes77: Agreed. When it's done to improve upon the lifespan of a game and boost income to generate another one in the series, I'm all for it, but when they deliberately hold off on certain pieces of content only to conveniently release them days after release, or even have the audacity to do it on Day 1, well screw em.
@hystavito: Yea I know, the video leaks that I saw, like god damn, games from the PS2 era atleast they TRIED to make it look like they were mouthing the words, the E3 demo they showed of the Vault tec guy at your door?
Yea, they changed that or something odd was going on, it honestly looked like a bad dubbed japanese movie that was completely out of sync at best, not flattering at all. I won't lie I am kinda anxious now, this diamond in the rough may not turn out to be se shiny after all.
After careful viewing i have come to the conclusion there is one major criticism that does hold some weight that a lot of people have been bringing to bear, the lip syncing is absolutely horrible, like damn is it bad.
I watched the videos, I see some legitimacy to peoples criticisms, the graphics look kinda plastic-ish, but they are not bad, for sure a ENB preset will come out soon and rectify it after release. The mechanics look updated, it feels like a proper shooter, not a rpg with a gun tacked on with no associated elements, the lip syncing looks out of wack. Havnt seen any bugs yet, just some minor inconsistencies in regards to realism and immersive (i.e. dog is on fire but gives no F****). I just want it, waiting another week seems like torture at this point.
For those bitching about graphics and you play PC, please shut up. They do this to keep it open to multiple pc setups both high to low end, and really, we all know theres going to be a crapton of ENB graphic mods in less than a year from launch so deal with it. Game looks mint to me.
