Halo doesn't make it to the Best Xbox One GOTY? That's gonna piss off a lot of people. It would have attracted more votes than Ori & The Blind Forest (not saying that Ori wasn't a damn amazing game, just that far more XB1 owners likely played Halo than Ori).
P.S Its a bit sickening for me to see Fallout 4 in every platform and overall GOTY. The game was good, but nowhere that good. For me, it was by and large overhyped and only achieved success because of the Fallout label. That's just my opinion though.
@Dark_sageX: Just depends on who you ask. XB1 has had Remastered Gears, Halo, Forza, Tomb Raider and Rare Replay in some of the big stuff. Some will be overjoyed and some just won't care.
With the amount of time I put into Bloodborne, yeah, I'm not complaining about anything. Multiplatform titles such as The Witcher 3, MGSV and Fallout 4 soaked up a lot of time too. If there were any other big exclusives, I doubt I would have bought them if they weren't Uncharted. Eagerly awaiting Uncharted 4, No Man's Sky and Horizon: Zero Dawn for 2016, don't care for Street Fighter or Gran Turismo. 2016 will only be slightly better than 2015 when it comes to exclusives for me.
Because you're an uncool casual if you don't like games with high difficulty. Ah, just kidding! Tough games that aren't cheap and well-designed know how to reward you for your patience and intellect. The sense of progression doesn't come from having fancier gear and higher stats, it comes from gradually knowing how to deal with every single enemy and trap thrown at you. They respect you for adapting qualities and offer pleasure in how you eventually overcome the obstacles. I hated so many things during my playthrough of Bloodborne, but at the end, I look back and just say "Wow". That being said, don't be disappointed with yourself if you give up on these games. Nothing works for everyone. And there's no shame in stepping back.
