More than half of the gaming community accepts homosexuality. Does that make it right? During the days of the Pac Man era, game developers wouldn't even dare add homosexuality in their games because they knew that wouldn't be the right thing to do. Because of those choices, ALL gamers enjoyed the same games with peace and unity. I'm expecting the thumbs down, that's ok. You have the right to support homosexuality, and I have the right to say that it's wrong in Jesus name. Jesus?! Yes. He is not pleased, and so am I. I'm not judging homosexuals, just the practice. Big difference......Game developers, make games with a straight line for all gamers to walk on together, and the unity will remain peaceful and prosperous for both sides. Peace to all :)
As a old school christian gamer, I play video games for enjoyment and to escape from reality. The world itself has numerous troublesome issues. Now I'm starting to notice that one of those issues (homosexuality) is now being promoted by the corporations just to make a quick buck. A controversial topic like that should never be in any video game. If that lifestyle is ok in your eyes, you are definitely entitled to think the way you want. However, there are other gamers out there like myself who doesn't agree with homosexuality. A popular game like Mass Effect 3 will sell many more copies if they just made the game for all players to enjoy comfortably.
@SuprSaiyanRockr. I didn't condemn anyone. I was just telling it like it is. You, who claimed to be a christian should know better. Have you read Matthew 23? The Lord Jesus was more harsh than me when he spoke out against the Jews. I'm not judging either. Many non believers are quick to grab on to a couple of bible verses like "Judge not" and just run with it. First of all, that passage is referring to not judging the soul of an individual. Thats God's business, not ours. On the other hand, there is a bible verse that says, "Judge with righteous judgment" John 7:24. That simply means, judge according to EVIDENCE. So what is my evidence? Mass Effect 3 contains homosexuality, and that lifestyle is wrong according to the bible.
There was a time when video games didn't contain these controversial things. I chose to respond the way I did because I'm so sick and tired of seeing these corporations fill their products with things are just not right. @DethAngel. I make you sick? Homosexuality makes God sick. That's why He destroyed Sodom and Gorrmorah. Yes, these views are straight forward and bold, but I have to share them because I don't want to see people like you in Hell. You said earlier, "love your neighbor" I am, by telling you the truth. Jesus is not just the "Good Shepherd" He is also Judge, Jury, and Executioner.....I do agree with some of you guys. Gamespot shouldn't post articles like this. They did what they did because they're a bunch of advocates of liberal expression. I am just a old school christian gamer who doesn't like the decisions that are being made in the gaming industry. You guys have your views and you are all entitled that liberty. People like myself on the other hand, are also entitled to mine.....
The bible is against homosexuality. No one is born that way. It's a choice. Jesus Christ will judge them and those who support them very harshly. Keep advocating for these ungodly video game companies like Bioware and the makers of Skyrim. Hell will be waiting!
