I been playing video games since the days of Atari. I remember playing Combat by myself because I didn't have no one to play with (older gamers can relate to that lol) As the years flew by, the graphics, game play, and story lines, became more realistic. Now I'm a father of 2 young boys (ages 9 and 15) We play different types of games together, such as Call Of Duty, NBA 2K13, and Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom. Do I believe that video games can make people murder other people? No. However, there are some games out there that are way over the top in my opinion (Man Hunt and Grand Theft Auto) Those types of games shouldn't be in the market. That's my view, you have yours, and I respect that.

I agree with the NRA. There should be "armed qualified officers" in our schools. President Obama has armed people around him. In some banks and business buildings, there are armed guards in those places. Right after 9/11, there were armed officers with assault rifles standing in front of Penn Station in mid town Manhattan. The only mistake that the NRA made, is when they pointed their fingers at the video game industry. Video games didn't murder those children, the NRA didn't murder those children. It was Adam Lanza who murdered those children.

As a christian, I have other thoughts regarding that awful atrocity. Was he demon possessed? Possibly. Only God knows the answers. This I do know, don't pass the buck if you are guilty. Don't blame others for what you did. And don't throw stones from a garbage dump. For none is us perfect, only God. Ronald Reagan said it best, "We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the law breaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions." Amen to that. Peace :)

It's so easy to come here and throw stones at a system that you don't own. If you own one, and if you're not happy with it, I will consider your view. But if you don't have the system, don't let your ignorance take charge of your home row keys. Peace.

@MAS_LUDICREN I don't own one, but I'm planning on getting one. Because one day, the next Zelda, Mario, and Metroid, will be awesome. Also, to be able to play games on the gamepad is cool. Even though it's not an ultra power system, that doesn't mean that its going to be a bad system. We have an abundance of games available with great graphics, but the gameplay and the stories are terrible. Graphics are important, but they are many other aspects to consider. I am not a fan boy. I have a PS3, XBOX, and a Wii. I'm just a gamer period. Peace :)

I been playing video games since the days of Atari 2600. Now I own a PS3, Xbox, Wii, iPad, and a PC (8 year veteran of City Of Heroes. I will miss that game) I played many violent games. Did those experiences cause me to do violent things in real life? No, never. However, there is a huge increase of mindless violent games being made as we speak. Why? I personally believe it is because there's a big demand for that, and these corporations know it. Their old cash cow (quality games like Actraiser, Shadow of the Colossus, and many other games that have that breath taking affect) have been replaced because more than half of this generation want to be led by these companies, that are not interested in making games like "The Last Guardian"

To me, Dark Souls is one of those games that reminded me of my childhood. I grew up playing games that didn't hold your hand. Almost every game out now was designed to hold you hand instead of making you think. Also, the fun factor is on a downward spiral nowadays. Rayman Legends and SSX have that fun factor. They are the few, unfortunately.

Is there violence in video games? Yes. Let's just call it for what it is. Violence is violence, just like light is light. Is it ok to play those type of games? As a christian gamer, I believe that no one should play senseless violent games. That's my opinion. You have yours, and I respect that. Peace :)

Personally, I wasn't impressed at all. Their lineup of games is below average. I believe that many gamers are waiting for a new super mario 64 type of game to be released instead of another super mario bros wii. Microsoft and Sony are going to have a field day when they come out. Nintendo needs to step up their game.

Doesn't sound like Sony is looking out for their customers.

When the Turbo Graphics portable came out, that was an incredible thing. It was the right time. The Gameboy was released at the right time. Now is not the right time, because they are many other options out there, better options. I'll stick with my ipad. Games are cheaper anyway. I'm content.
