@Kuwarii You and I both on the controller. Well not "very uncomfortable" but "toy like". I even bought an "XBOX Like" controller for my PS3 that didn't work out. I'm happy to say that I got my hands on a PS4 stick and it is more "XBox Like". Looking forward to a PS4.
Oh my gaw'd, everything you said in the first two minutes is everything I had to say about "last gen". Everything you said after makes me regret putting off my PS4 purchase. I may be back to both consoles gaming much more quickly than anticipated. I already expected more up time on the PS side this gen but I was waiting on titles. Thanks Danny.
Didn't care much about driving games until a friend gave me his copy of F1 2010. That lead to Forza 4 and GT5 and now nine months later I couldn't be more pumped about Forza 5 Friday!
@kevandalex Agreed but 5:1 sound, motion sensing and HD were already taken. Hard to pick what could be a "gen changer" this time around. So I hope things will just get a nudge (double nudge please) better.
"Enjoy it, console launches don't come around very often." Well put. These launches are about the joy of the big event. The great games that this gen will be remembered for have not even started development.
I can see Snap being handy during installs and in delays during matchmaking. Not surprised that the MS rep avoided something like "Don't ya' just hate waiting for minutes between every Forza race?".
It's hard to get a "game night" together with friends. When I do it's magic. We like to mix games where you can chat (driving games are good for this) with the more action packed games where mainly you ignore orders and laugh at each other!
Games have passed films in the action format. I would much rather control the adventure than just watch it. Perhaps soon other genres of film with be better done interactively as well?
