I'm gonna get it for Resident Evil Revelations, and I hope other games support it(games I want anyway)

The second circle pad accessory is starting to grow on me, it looks very ergonomic and will be useful for games. I think it's cool that it adds triggers, and it won't use up the 3DS battery.

BTW circle pads are superior to analog IMO

Well if the games appeal to you then go for it, $170 is a great price
