They should release one huge DLC pack that contains every song they've made for the game at a discount. Something like $1000. You know there are some people out there who would buy it, plus it would (hopefully) set a record for most expensive DLC ever. You know, that's gotta be worth something to them.

@rattyocaster They could very well still release a "next-gen" game. It could be a download only game that comes with no music, and just allows you to access the 4000+ song library that you can buy. So then your purchases could carry forward. It's just a bit sad knowing there won't be any more going forward, although I (like most people, I imagine) have not bought much new stuff in a long while...

@shantd @Rheinmetal Well they could include true PS3/PS2/PS1 backwards compatability into a "deluxe" model, since it's believed the Cell Processor is absolutely not in the PS4, this could offer something deluxe, kinda along the lines of how they started with BC for the PS3 and gradually removed it. This would work well in conjunction with a bigger HDD. Plus it could be something required to play all the "Full PS3" games you can get on the PSN, because while I hope all the other content carries over, I imagine this might be the tricky part (but then, there's no requirement any of it will carry forward...)

If years and years of Call of Duty and the like have given me anything, it is the absolute knowledge that I would last no more than 30 seconds in a real war. Sense of courage my ass!

@buccomatic Really, Steam ties games to accounts the same way the consoles are looking to do. How is this really different?
