I'm actually nervous about both at this point. But lean towards M$ next system due to the actual improvements over simple hardware. I still think the kinect is a F*n joke (i do have one) but find Playstations + network to be a big waste of money as the free games are games are those I would never pay for anyway. The PS3 as a whole (minus say 3 games) was a total waste of money for me. Especially as blue ray players are now available for 40+ dollars from higher quality electronics companies like Samsung. On the other end of the spectrum I am tired of replacing xbox's because of crap hardware!
If you continue to regurgitate the same content that didn’t sell well (like COD/Halo well) the last time, then don’t do it again. Oh wait... it’s from Nintendo? Then yes I would love the play the exact same game over and over and over and over and over and over for the next 20 years.
NEW IP NINTENDO, your hardware is handicapped out the door and your titles suck! Your third party support sucks because no one is falling for your gimmicks! The last truly good Nintendo for me was the SNES. I had purchased a 64 for 2 games, killer instinct and Goldeneye. The rest of the games sucked compared to competitors. The game cube was suited to small children with little hands and the Wii was a complete gimmick due to the lack of support. They keep expecting us to play mario again and again, i have grown to hate the Nintendo staple of characters simply because I am sick of seeing them. The problem is those are the only game they have that are close to "good" and get any real attention for Nintendo. Everything else can be played better, elsewhere.
Why would we bother with the WiiU at this point? They have years of disappointment under their belt except for with the hard core Nintendo fans. Nintendo is blind to their own failure. What is that called in depression; Denial? LOL
But what will that do for the “instant switching” since I have to have the disc in?Now because of the recoil of the people we have to have the disc in the console to have it up and ready to switch to on the fly.Don’t get me wrong, I’m as happy as the next guy to see that BS policy go away but I think we may have lost some where we gained some here.
