In today's day and age "reboot" actually translates to "re-skin". It's the same garbage dressed up as new. This sounds INCREDIBLY boring, especially after LOVING SR3. It's like Crackdown 3 all over again. Blah. No thanks.
This is the new status quo nowadays. Just don't even bother giving a date anymore. Release it when it's finished. Game devs are going to spend the next two years after release getting the game to where it should have been originally anyway.
@mogan: Agreed. It's just too bad that they had to bring back Christensen to play Vader. I just can't unlive his terrible acting from Episodes 2 and 3. The scar just won't heal!
For me, everything was good EXCEPT Hayden Christensen. His character, whether it was the way it was written or the way he portrayed the character that was written, was absolutely, unequivocally, irrevocably, terrible. The forced continuation of his character with Natalie Portman's character was even worse, with Anakin ultimately becoming a scolded toddler. I actually really enjoyed Episode 1 - still cheesy, and I still hate JarJar, but it was great, and I don't mind even as an adult. But Episodes 2 and 3 were just bad.
Great. Another LoTR game that I am completely uninterested in. I am completely burned out on MMOs for many reasons - not least of which is the little time I have to actually play games nowadays. I'm not 17 anymore. I have shit to do.
Make me a LoTR game that plays like an Elder Scrolls game and I'll pay you whatever you want.
