I am on my 4th Xbox for various reasons.

I got my original Xbox 360 shortly after they came out. At the time, where I live we did not have High-Speed internet. About a year later I got high speed internet but the network card in the xbox would freeze my xbox when in use. Had it replaced under warrenty.

I lost my 2nd xbox during a storm. I wasn't even playing xbox when lightning struck something and I lost my Modem, reuter and XBOX. It was kind of strange because it didn't fry the entire 360, but the video card itself was fried. Replaced under warrenty.

My 3rd XBOX got the RROD aftera couple years. My warrenty was up and had to buy a new 360 Slim.

Currently using a 360 Slim and loving it.

While the 3ds is my first DS i've ever owned so I have nothing to compare it to, but my aqua 3ds feels great. It doesn't seem to wobble at all while i'm playing. My only complaint is the marks on the top screen from the bottom screen. (even with protector screen on)

I just got my Slim 2 days ago and I've noticed a big a difference in it. My last xbox was a Pro Model with the 20GB harddrive and it felt sluggish. It may have been the harddrive cause I had been using the same harddrive since Xbox first came out. But now that I got the Slim 250GB and transfered my stuff over, everything feels a lot smoother. And to me, its as quit as advertised. (NOTE: I do have a color wheel going bad in my TV that makes a little hum noisee that could be canceling out the Slim's fans....and my Surround sound.)

Sort of an odd question, IMO. Answer is simple. Do you want to have your Xbox 360 Slim now, or able to wait a few days? I hate waiting for things to arrive after ordering online so I usually go to store. Buying online is just as safe as going to the store if you know what you're doing.

Just got a 250gb Slim today, and its a lot faster than my original xbox that got the RROD on Thanksgiving. I picked up the transfer cable for $20....Kind of a rip-off but it was worth it.

The xbox produces a lot of heat. All that heat will just sit in that cabnet. The xbox will continue to recirculate that hot air over and over again till you get the dreaded RROD. I have my xbox sitting on a small glass table all by itself. It gets all the air flow possible and yet, yesterday on Thanksgiving, my 360 got the RROD. (R.I.P. Xbox 360 PRO)...My warranty was up by 4 months too. So I picked up the new 250gb xbox Slim and i've noticed a huge difference.
