I have a question, and I'm sure it won't be answered...but I think it's something of an issue.

GameSpot's original review that was posted earlier today had an 8.5 score attached to it. That review was later taken down, and it is now replaced with a review that features a 9.0 score...which I believe is the minimum for Editor's Choice (I could be wrong about that).

So...why was the score changed? I noticed in the launch center for the game that a lot of people seemed completely unaware that a review was ever posted, so I'm just curious if there is a logical explanation for this.

When Gamespot warns you about a comment on a news story, or when they suspend you temporarily....do they even read the comments that they are suspending you for and such? I've had four warnings and two 1-day suspensions, and all for stuff that I've seen tons of other people do on this site. As a matter of fact, I've read articles that GAMESPOT has written that carried some of the same ideas. Therefore, can I honestly be told I was "trolling" when IT WAS THE ONLY COMMENT ON THE ENTIRE NEWS STORY? What, just because I said "WHAT? Bungie understated Halo 3? I'd figure they'd have a 12 story building full of servers at this point!".....I said that, and it's considered trolling? I mean, honestly.....

So, my suggestion and enhancement idea is that you read someone's comments before administering some form of punishment, because while I'll agree that maybe 3 of my 6 "disciplinary actions" may be called for, the rest had dumb reasons for being reported and acted upon.

Since I've been on this site, I have never had a problem trying to comment on a single thing.  I just tried to comment on the new Riddick news story, and I got that my access level wasn't high enough.  Level 10 isn't high enough?!?!

People, Diablo 3 will be on its way.  An announcement should be out after Burning Crusade comes out and it is situated in place.  When I ran my own gaming website, BonusStage.com, Blizzard reps had sent out some target renders of enemies and armor.  Sadly, the information was embargoed, so we couldn't show anything.  Suffice it to say, the game is going to rock.  But, unlike most people think, they aren't going the direction of WoW with this one.  It should stay pretty truthful to the past two in terms of gameplay and style, but it was never made clear if they would be sticking with a 3/4 overhead camera view or possibly rearranging that.  Given the failure of Blizzard to hold onto Hellgate: London or Starcraft: Ghost, though...I'm going to assume that Blizzard has a thing against third-person views that don't involve MMO in the game....lol.

We'll all see.  I say an announcement of Diablo 3's existence before April sounds possible, but they may be saving it for the newly revamped E3.  Now THAT would be excitement.  It'll definitely be next year, though.  I have almost no doubt.

And for the naysayers, those target renders were released to most press sometime around September 2005.
