I've been harrassed simply for being american while on xbox live, I've cussed out people who say I'm stupid for using the word "yall". Thats what idiotic people do when you give them a mic. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. I don't think there is anything wrong with being gay but you should no better than to put that on your profile.
I've read other reputable reviews that gave it a 9, it may not be as deep as other RTS games, but I think Halo Wars is aiming for action instead of pure chess like strategy. I think this sites review focused mainly on how the game held up to other RTS games out there that are mainly strategic games like Sins of a Solar Empire, which is awesome but a bit boring.
A review is one person's opinion. That person is suppose to look at the game from a neutral and unbias standpoint; I personally think that somebody's pockets got lined for GTAIV to get a 10 out of 10.
Blue-ray? No, its owned by sony, microsoft will rely on HD downloads. Motion control maybe only becuase nintendo already made it relevant and the ps3 controller has it too; other things like 3d games or physical stimulation are not going to be part of the next console because people would get tired of that way to fast. There was a device back in the SNES times that was like a backpack rumblepack. It was really stupid and I used it once (birthday gift when I was 7). 500gb hardrive is a possiblity since most games in the near future will probably be all downloaded. Better cpu yea, "green" though? probably not because the going green thing is a fad that will probably die out before the next consoles come out. I think the real advancements in the next console generation will be online functions like watching Hulu on your xbox and anything that creates a more involved/social experience when playing games.
I accidently put a dent in my gears 2 disc and it quit working, installed my friends copy and now it works fine. I think the option is usefull occasionally.
Mass Effect is awesome. One of the few games I've ever played where I actually felt my character had social significance. Most games just make you feel like your watching whats going on through the eyes of the character, but Mass Effect really put you in that characters position and made you make your own decisions. It is rather slow paced and it probably takes an intellectual mind to enjoy it, but that doesn't mean its bad. Just sophisticated, for gamers who are more mature.
