 I agree with the topic starter about this being an open discussion/question and answer type of thread... WHAT I'd like to add on however (on a completely different matter, or rather this current matter) is that as stated earlier, the wii has yet to have a game BUILT with it's engine, and another thing is, You have the system so enjoy it... quit acting like "technical pansies" about whose got which highest RAM and crap like that, you all need to grow up, someone else on these forums once said that a true gamer doesn't judge the system he judges the games... that person was me.... lol none the less it's a true statement that you should follow... sure he used bad examples for graphical comparrison, and Red steel's creators (microsoft and crap) said themselves that, that game was meant to be a test drive to see how the  consumer (you) respond to the controlls... right now, it's WAY to early to decide the wiis true graphical power, allthough I must say that one picutre of mario galaxy was pretty impressive (the earth thing was anyhow) how about we all come back to this topic after Brawl comes out... that way we'll have a good idea where the wii is headed, and where it can go

The ignorance is strong in this post.  You do realize that not a single Wii game released to this date was developed on Wii hardware.  Third party games with the exception of Red Steel, Madden, Sonic, Super Monkey ball, where made on PS2 hardware. All first and Second party gamew where made on GameCube hardware.  You won't see Wii games built from the ground up on Wii hardware until the end of summer.  Scarface the World is yours is coming out in mid summer and that game was built on Xbox hardware and according to the developer the Wii version is a step up in graphics.  

So do us a favor and stop making ignorant posts.

The fact that you're judging the Wii's graphics on these four games, 2 of which are tech demos, one of which is a mini game compilation, and the other is developed by EA I believe (meaning they want quick money without spending time to make the product good) tells me that you have no idea what you're talking about! I know you kept saying you are not dissing the Wii, but honestly, to judge the Wii's graphics capabilites on those four games is terrible. If you wanted to judge the graphics, get something like Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, a game that actually took TIME to make (heh, a lot of time!) and then realize that Zelda is only a first generation title. There will be better, you just have to wait. Yes, it wont be nearly as good as the 360 or PS3 but I don't think any of us expected that.

I mentioned the games I was playing so that people know what I've seen. I don't claim to be an expert on the Wii, hence I made this thread. I just wanted people to be able to know whether or not I've seen the high or low quality games.
