I've had so much more fun in this "6.5" game than I've had in 9.0-10.0 games like Fallout 3, Oblivion or Half-life 2... This game is much more than a 6.5 to me when I compare the fun I've had in other games.

I own World of Goo and Zack & Wiki, I don't really enjoy them all that much. I do enjoy Geometry Wars which is third party. Worms had potential to be alot of fun but they took away all the fun weapons for the Wii version.

I prefer the GC version of Super Monkey Balls

Boom Blox is much too easy, but okay for 15 minutes or so in multiplayer.

I also own the Lego Star Wars saga.. I can not for the life of me figure out what the point of this game is and as such don't enjoy it at all.. It seems so easy I am bored to death every time I try to figure it out... but maybe I haven't gotten far enough into it to get past boring newbie stages or something. I am not an die hard Star Wars fan boy either, so that might be a reason why I don't enjoy it as much as someone who recognizes every reference and enjoys just being in a lego star wars universe.. Someone please explain what I am doing wrong with this game...

Resident Evil 4 is okay (even though it's really just a GC title), but I don't like survival shooters as much as I do arcade or typical run and gun FPS shooters. I do like Dues Ex on the PC though, but I wouldn't call it a survival shooter, nor Thief which I also love.

I would like to play a good strategy type game, like Kingdom Under Fire, or a slightly easier version of Fire Emblem. I also wouldn't mind a Roller Coaster Tycoon type game... if someone would actually make a good one for consoles.

Does it play like Kingdom Under Fire on the original xBox? I really enjoyed that type of game.

All this chatter about 3rd party games we should be supporting, but I don't see any listed here. Any suggestions for a third party game anywhere near as good as Zelda, Mario Galaxy, MKW, Brawl or Metroid on the Wii?

This will probably sound lame, but I bought a Wii because the games on this system actually have colors... So manygames on 360/PS3 simply seem like 3D monochrome renditions of actual games..The games on those systems seems so brown/grey/blue.. Mad World doesn't appeal to me because it is a primarily two/three color game. I find it hard on my eyes to even watch video reviews.

I wouldn't mind the art style if they just added some freaking color... I don't even mind if they are primary colors.. just.. something..

Whether I'm browing Steam, Direct2Drive or even Stardock's Impulse game download service I'm always inundated with a ton of games I've never heard of (most of them RTS/TBS games). Most of this stuff seems like shovelware.. but I'm sure there must be a gem or two in the mix.

Does anyone have any experience buying and downloading these games only to be pleasently surprised by a good game? I've tried a few times and am always dissapointed.

Fallout 1 - For maximum RPG pleasure

Doom 2 - For the definitive shooter everyone else learned from

EverQuest: up through Velious - For the greatest MMORPG experience yet to be released

Age of Empires 2 - To show that games can be fun, easy to learn and strategic

Roller Coaster Tycoon - Because city building is so much more fun when you can bring it to life.
