the gaming industry is becoming more and more greedy like other mediums in the entertainment industry, and its sad. its not enough that they keep putting out the same games over and over agian (talkin to you COD), but now they want to punish gamers for not being able to afford the \$60 for a new game. Im sorry but if they ban the use of used games on next gen consoles I will not be purchasing one. I Will personally boycott the new consoles if this follows through, and I hope other games will too.
Sports, racing, and fighting games should not be 60 bucks. When was the last time anyone was satisfied dropping 60 bucks for a madden game that is basically the same stripped down game as last years, but with a few gameplay and menu tweaks. Theres only a few games i have ever bought that seemed truly worth the price. like Skyrim for example, this is a game packed with hundreds of hours of content, and rewards players that play through multiple times. How often can you really play through a Forza or Fifa game? I get bored with Forza before i even finish the career mode. Developers need to drop prices on sports games, or release them every other year so they can really make substantial changes to the game.
