I love the Legend of Zelda series to death, and have owned almost every iteration of the series and I can say that TP, while good, is no Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, or Link to the Past. There is a lot of rabid fanboyism leading to these TP fanatic comments, so what if it didn't get a nine? Personally why did it deserve more, it was just a fusion of OoT and LttP.
I would say pokemon, the games are as long as any final fantasy game out there. That and they allow for wide amounts of customization when building teams to fight. There is also the massive quests to acquire legendary pokemon and shiny pokemon, as well as take on friends with your team selections and see how you fare.
If this is a true new concept then count me out for sure, not only does the screen look flimsy, but why do we need a ds the size of a wallet? The lite is already small enough. Cool idea, but probably to poor implementation.

Cloud became mako poisoned because he was weak willed, his personality wasn't strong enough to handle all of the other minds and spirits in the mako. That is why in FF 7 Tifa has to fix his personality after his second mako poisoning.
Yeah, I mean if we all listened to reviewers God of War 1, 2, and CoO would be in everyone's gaming library. That, gentlemen, is a world I don't want to see come to pass. However, I noticed a lot of blind fanboy loyalty guiding the opinions of reviews and their reviewers. Reviews are just a resource, as much as trailers and gameplay footage. All it serves is to give people more info with which to make a decision. Not to mention when you have like 22 or more games to play in depth and write a review on it could potentially be a difficult and tiresome job, so games may not score what a person playing that game feels they should but obviously based on the thread it doesn't really matter. BTW if no one is going to listen to GI's review anyway then why start a thread to whine about it and shoot it down?
I think if we all really look at it we can agree that Wind Waker kicked ass, and so does Phantom Hourglass. However, he is not disputing it is a good zelda game. He is saying that instead of a DS sequel he would like a wii sequel set in the same universe, he is not saying it will happen. I mean I have been waiting for Megaman Legends 3 since 2000, I can hope all I want it doesn't mean I will get it. Also, some more Tales games like the Destiny Remake Director's cut would be nice.
