I am 23 and have played all of the mainstream pokemon games and enjoyed them thouroughly. They mix Final Fantasy and Harvest Moon in my opinion. It is a huge RPG roadtrip that has yet to be emulated in any game since.

Yeah, Sqaure-Enix is so broke that they barely had the 200 million dollars to front for their Tecmo bid. Square-Enix has not lost money, they are just not going to meet their fiscal projections for this year, there is a large difference. It is not completely a straight up port either, new dungeons (whoopeee! I know), and a new touchscreen feature that will prolly play like pokemon D/P/Plat. Mebbe if we're lucky the new dungeons will have something to do with the lost parts of the story between CT and CC.

I think it would be bad because everyone would quit school at the age of ten to become a trainer. There would be very few intelligent people due to lack of proper education, I mean are there even pokemon colleges? The idea is cool, but the execution would be catastrophic. What ten year old in his right mind would stay in shcool when he could leave home and have adventures? Not me man, I would be gone.

If you are asking in reference as to which one is a better purchase based on this info, wait for platinum.

I am in a band and play guitar myself, and sometimes I would like to have fun with my friends who aren't so into music. It allows them to enjoy what I enjoy even if they don't actually play instruments. So what is wrong with that?

While I can understand the against opinion on the red case, I also bought Ninja Gaiden Sigma and think the red case looks just fine. It could be way worse, we could have the Konami bestseller case like Castlevania DoS and that is gross. All it is is the same cover shrunk and on a white sketchboard border. If it came down to red or Konami's Best red is amazing.

Ruby/Saphire/Emerald did IMO. So yeah gen 3. The only pokemon I like from gen 3 is sableye, he looks like a little demon. Not just the pokemon though, the entire game feels rushed, R/S/E are totally pokemon's FF9.

That is awesome, however, there is no gamecrazy that I have ever heard of here in Alberta. So good for you man, unfortunately if they closed down these chains of companies that means that gamers are neglecting to buy there. That means that in your largely populated area there are fewer people buying or playing games, which is actually bad for the industry. Even if they are going to other spots to buy their games, that means there is a breakdown in competition and therefore one person may rule the large portion of game supplies. Probably just some idle conjecture on my part though.

This is a great move by Square-Enix. Competition breeds innovation, and innovation breeds better games. The fact that the X-Box is becoming a true contender finally means that sony cannot just fall back on their continued PS1 and PS2 supporters, it means they have to work for it. This means eventual price cuts, cheaper cost of making games and therefore cheaper costs to purchase them. It also means a lot of new underrated talent will rise and take the forefront instead of the same people over and over again. I think this console generation will be an awesome one and I am along for the ride happily.
