@dark_sith_ @PeterDuck Agreed. IV wasn't as good as the others, but it was still enjoyable and at least it tried to do something different. Disciples II is a great game as well. Haven't tried Disciples III yet, but I hear that was pretty bad?
@PeterDuck Ok, I hate to be that guy but I have to say that HoMM5 with all xpacks was still pretty damn good. I would even argue it was almost as good as or just as good as 3, albeit with some atrocious art-style. :)
Shao Jun in AC Embers and mention of the rope dart in AC3 having been invented by her, they should just stop being such ****-teases and straight up make AC:China.

That right there could be the game. Rebuild the order as Shao Jun. Of course, I have no idea how to tie that into the overall modern world part of the game...

I have to agree with the review on the whole. Flawed game,but its positives more than make up for it. I especially like how gold is actually limited, for a change.
One issue I had with the review (a minor one), though, is how you mention that the lack of offensive spells was disappointing. I guess I just have different tastes, but I rather liked how magic wasn't just a fancy colored version of a bow and arrow, for a change.
