Thats not true. I was running Counter Strike at like 300 fps and any quick movements the screen was tearing badly. emmm...yeah...thats exactly the point...you were getting 300 fps, and your monitor refresh rate is what, 75 hz as much? you are 225 frames above the limit. if you are getting like 30 frames in a game and your monitor refresh rate is 75 hz, you wont be getting much screen tearing... AH I see what you're saying. Yeah I don't run any games that low.

You'd need a faster cpu to feed the gpu information. You cant run a GTX 580 on a dual core chip, since the dual core chip wont be able to feed it info fast enough. /facepalm

An intel G860 is a horrible chip for gaming, you would barely get 20fps on low with that. On my build you'get 40fps on medium. You know very little about PC hardware, that is clear.
