And I'm not talking about MS and the X1, I'm talking about Gamespot!
1 year ago this article would have had 1000 comments by lunch. But now after driving everyone away, deleting comments that had no insults but were funny, these comments are all that's left.
While I dislike the amount of Indie games being offered for "free" I have been introduced to some pretty fun titles:
Rocket League was a gem specially for free, and last months Nom Nom Galaxy game was actually fun to play. This month The Last Guy is available for the PS3 which is one of my favorite titles on Playstation Now.
Do I prefer to get new AAA PS4 titles? Yes, but I do not mind being introduced to indie titles as long as they are fun to play.
While I have been disappointed in Add-On DLC's before, GTA's (so far) has not let me down.
Both DLC's BoGT and TLaD for GTA 4 where incredible, so as long as they deliver quality I will buy it, and so will most of the other people who bought the 54 million copies.
The fact that Sony is recognizing that they needed to give back is a positive, according to them the network was down for about 10 hours, they respond by giving us a 1 day free extension. As a business this makes sense, but only as a business.
The problem here is that even though Sony's resolution makes business sense, it doesn't feel right. And this is where the issue truly begins, how do you make everyone feel "compensated", yet somehow make it make business sense.
The extremist will want 1 year free membership, plus 10 new games, the haters will want Sony to go away and die, and everyone else is probably somewhere in between.
