@vega2505: Agree on DOA 5 being perfect, but DOA 6 is even better as noted by the PS4 demo. This isn't a port of old gen (DOA 5) this is from the ground up PS4 perfection.

@gamingdevil800: The PS4 demo showed the T&A is still intact with DOA 6 as is the killer fighting.

##@nabinator: Maybe the standard for side scrolling fighters, but it can't touch DOA's precision balanced 3D combat. I outgrew side scrollers years ago as all they do is cause slight motion sickness similar to FPS plus the screen flashes hypnotize. Henceforth yeah DOA isn't going to hypnotize you or cause motion sickness thus it won't numb or sedate you or irritate you - so DOA would feel weird.

You SF guys should be demanding true 3D fighters out of the archaic SF series, MK series and even the burgeoning Injustice series. It is 2019 after all... thus DOA is the 2019 standard.

@PrpleTrtleBuBum: I buy the catalog costumes as it's a sweet variation for the characters when you do solo fights against a slew of random fighters. DOA series is the only series that has precision balanced 3D fighting on par with Ninja Gaiden back in the day. Team Ninja should be revered for their combat prowess just as much as ND is revered for their single player narratives of Uncharted.

@lonesamurai00: The PS4 beta demo I played has it where it counts including the T&A - if the demo has it so does the game. I'm buying day one physical copy on PS4 Pro. Team Ninja is finally all the way back in DOA 6 as DOA 5 Last Round showed glimpses of Team Ninja returning to form.

I love the fact they are sticking with the option to remove the hit effects as I can't stand the screen flashes so disorienting plus they finally got rid of the insane hyper speed from Itagaki's reign. I'm seeing rumblings online of Ninja Gaiden resurfacing for this year as well - hopefully following suit on the no screen flashes and no hyper speed of DOA.

@@nsa_protocol44: Also, RE2 remake ala Spider-Man, Uncharted 4, Uncharted Lost Legacy, Dead or Alive 5 (& 6) and Injustice 2 actually has legit gameplay (i.e. play control) thus the emphasis is on smooth fluid combat and exploration mechanics unlike GOW, Horizon Dawn, Tomb Raider, etc. that have clunky combat and exploration mechanics especially found in "action" RPG's.

The graphics take a minor hit when emphasizing gameplay (i.e. old style gameplay - games may look state of the art, but how do they play in motion??).

"Resident Evil 2's more serious tone is further enhanced by the renewed, fantastically atmospheric presentation, which gives familiar details from the classic game more of a pronounced look and feel. Moving away from the static camera angles of the original, everything has been redesigned with over-the-shoulder gameplay in mind, giving more of a palpable and invasive sense of dread when exploring."
