@srfilk86: I will say the motion blur is a tinge too much they better add a motion blur slider or I'm skipping this game. She's quite tatted up what with some tats below her navel I'll give her that!!
@RaveNRolla: Thanks for the tip on the knife - it seems for me using the knife was a lot easier in RE4. I have been using the knife in RE2 to quietly destroy Mr. Raccoon and the off chance I get grabbed by a zombie I hit L1 when prompted. I completed both Leon and Claire's initial campaigns strictly firing head shots like in RE4. I was disappointed to discover Leon and Claire's story campaigns aren't interwoven as one after all as they are two separate stories with similar levels. Another tip when you enter an area with zombies lying about motionless take the time to blow their heads off first before you trigger their wake up.
@EricShadow366: No one is twisting your arm to buy the costumes as you unlock enough costumes by completing story mode. The base costumes are "sexy" and cool enough to begin with. Don't fault Tecmo for providing variety up the ying yang for it's fan base. I buy some of the costumes, but obviously not all the costumes as some don't suit my tastes. None of the costumes provide gear enhancements like in Injustice as there is no gear system in DOA.
@Marky360: Sadly you could as a life long fan of Tecmo I would recommend gamers on the fence just get the DOA 6 free version as DOA 5 has more than enough in the free version to satisfy your curiosity. I wish Tecmo would do a simple demo as the beefed up free version hurts sales.
@The_Dragon_Born: True with RE4 in most respects, but they greatly improved the 3rd person OTS by providing an option to max out the field of view for a true 3rd person perspective something RE4 never had thus RE4 plays like a 1st person perspective with the character on screen. I prefer the RE2 REMAKE way. Now RE2>RE4.
@Bread_or_Decide: RE7 helped partially restore a dwindling fan base for RE hence the lower sales as the bad word of mouth from RE6 still lingered.
Also why RE2 Remake will break the 7 million mark as it is standing on the shoulders of RE7 sales plus 3rd person OTS fans, like me, also purchased it.
Sales are also affected by other things such as time of release, lull in a series, societal ills and ways (RE5), etc.
