[QUOTE="harakiri25"]gta san andreas multiplayer mod requires 1.0 version of the game. steam auto updates the games making it impossible to play this mod.

there were more i heard of. can't remember now

foxhound_fox

I'd put the blame on the modders for not using the updated version of the game... not Steam for updating the game. >_>

i do too. but one way or another, it doesn't work wih the steam version (without a bunch of files from the retail version and a lot of pain in the a$$)

+ no packaging

+ no cds

+ large ammount of games

+ great community features

+ automatic updates

+ different languages available

+ available on any pc you own

------------------

- no packaging

- sucks if you are in europe (lots of games are usa only)

- mods usually don't work

- multiplayer is sometimes not compatible with retail versions

- usually more expensive than retail

bottom line GET IT. it is awesome

aveman1

I've never had any problems with mods. Any examples?

gta san andreas multiplayer mod requires 1.0 version of the game. steam auto updates the games making it impossible to play this mod.

there were more i heard of. can't remember now

Stretching the a 4:3 image to 16:9 isn't upscaling it's just distorting the picture to fill the whole screen.

Lepuke

so if the ps3 isn' upscaling, what do you call this?
