I'd love to see a Call of Duty in a sci-fi setting. To me, Call of Duty and Medal of Honor have an Indiana Jones feel to them. It's kinda a campy "YOOOO JOE!" kinda game and that fits well with sci-fi settings, too. But I think it's unethical to apply GI JOE cartoon action to real world settings. And yes, I've played all three Call of Duty games and I really enjoyed the first two games. But the game is like a GI JOE cartoon or comic book. And that just isn't a good match for real wars.

Co-op would be perfect for Metroid Prime's formula, IMO. Unlike FPS games like COD, where there's lots of scripted events that can only be triggered once, Metroid Prime is usually just about exploring and figuring out how to explore even more. If you could walk around with a friend and help each other figure out where to go, that'd be awesome.

Samus Aran's the lone wolf of all the games, yeah, but Four Swords Adventures let Link morph into 3 other players, so I don't see what the big deal is :P

I wanna be able to install Windows on my PS3, so I can play BF2142 on it. My computer is really crappy so I can't play it with high graphics.

IMO, PS3 is not good for games right now. But if you have an HDTV and want to watch HD movies, then the PS3 is worth it. I've been renting Blu-ray movies from Netflix. I just saw Casino Royale and The Descent on Blu-Ray. Great films.

For me, the ultimate console would actually be paired with the ultimate handheld system.  For example, you'd play Gears of War at home. Then you could quickly transfer the save file (through wi-fi) to your handheld system, and play on the handheld exactly where you left off on home. The handheld version of the game would be vastly inferior in terms of graphics, but it would be identical in terms of gameplay. This way, you're never saying "Dang, I wish i could get home and play that game some more!"

PC games already do all of this, if you think about it. You can have an awesome PC at home, playing a game at super high graphic settings. Then you transfer the save file to a laptop, lower the details, and continue playing.

If mouse/keyboard becomes a big hit after UT3, maybe we'll see a huge surge in RTS games coming to the PS3, too. Still, personally, I want to see BF2142 come to PS3 ASAP! It's one of my fav games of all time but my PC is too weak to run it at even medium settings. I don't think i can justify upgrading my PC just for one game, either. Mouse and keyboard is probably the best way to attract casual gamers to any game system. EVERYONE knows how to use a mouse and keyboard.

[QUOTE="bored88"]Corpse Bride, Black Hawk Down, and Kingdom of Heaven. My ps3 didn't come with Talladega Nights, I wish it did.CR00K
No.....you don't.

lol, i really enjoyed Talladega Nights, personally. The disc case says it's not for resale, but I'd like to sell it on Ebay if at all possible. Hmm...

Big fat zero here. I can never justify purchasing a movie. Watch a movie for 2 hours and then maybe again after a year or two.....? Why pay for that? Psh I say. psh!

I was thinking how the PS3 supports 6-7 controllers, and that it'd be cool if Sony made a game similar to Super Smash Brothers, but with the various Sony characters.

But what kind of characters would you want to see in such a game?
My list..
-A must-have would be Kratos, from God of War, and perhaps Hades.
-Ratchet from the Ratchet and Clank games.
-the two main characters from Genji 1, maybe.
-Sly Cooper, that wolf spy cartoon dude.
-The Traveller (main hero) from Shadow of the Colossus would be cool, along with the dude and girl from Ico, Colossus' predecessor.
-Maybe those weird orange gelatin dudes from LocoRoco? I mean, JigglyPuff's in
-the Ape from the Ape Escape games
-Jet Li? (Rise to Honor)
This isn't SCEA, but if Sony could get the Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy crews into the game, I think you'd have an instant hit. Or just Kingdom Hearts. A game full of Disney characters would be really popular aye?

Now, how about some stage ideas?
-My first thought: have one stage take place on top of a moving Colossus. Players are jumping up and down onto the Colossus' platforms. Sweet.
-I've only played Ratchet Deadlocked, but a lot of those stages had a cool aesthetic, so that's another idea.
-lots of different Disney settings if Kingdom Hearts is in. TRON, Mulan, Pirates of the Carribean, Lion King, etc.

semi-Off topic but.. I wish game companies would separate single player and multiplayer portions of their games into separate products. I never play Rainbow Six Vegas's singleplayer anymore, only the multiplayer. Meanwhile, I never play Gears of War multiplayer, only the singleplayer sometimes. I never played Neverwinter Nights 1's singleplayer, only multiplayer. I never play Guild Wars' campaign, only PVP. So nearly every game I play.. I only play a portion of the game. So I feel like I'm paying for additional content already, content I didn't really want to begin with!
