My Sega Saturn. Just valuable to me since it's one of my favorite systems. My favorite game for it is probably Mr Bones. It's a very underrated, but short game. That and Xmen Children of the Atom.

I have it on Wiiu and it looks amazing. I was actually shocked on how good it looked on the WiiU. I'm also having a blast playing it. Letting my ps4 and xbox1 have a rest for a bit, while a spend some time with the much neglected WiiU, and enjoy BOTW. Very good looking game to me.

This is a major positive for the xbox 1. I'm glad they continue to support backwards compatibility. I still have my 360 and it's hooked to the same tv, but it's nice to just put it into the xbox1 , especially while I'm already playing it, and do it that way. Plus, it seems like several games are improving slightly in performance. Red Dead actually has a better frame rate.

@Jaysonguy: I don't see a difference. Then again I just go with console that has the exclusives I prefer. Heck, the ps4 destroys my Dreamcast, yet I prefer playing the Dreamcast. The dreamcast can't match the ps4 s 1080p, it maxes at 680i I think. Lol

Looking to do the same. Going with either the r290x or gtx970 to pair with my fx6100. I'm running crossfired 6870s right now, and their vram is showing it's age. May move up to the 8 core fx chip later, but for now I'm gonna upgrade gpus.

@insane_metalist:

No. Hadn't planned on crossfire. Yea. Thinking about building another pc , since my wife uses mine for work at home anyways, managing servers. Her Phenom x3 wasn't fast enough, so she says. Lol . I'm either going with the 8350, or a Intel chip this time. Just not wanting to break the bank.

@insane_metalist: I'm buying mine after the holidays. Can't wait. I'm in much need of some of that juicy vram. Too bad when you crossfire you don't get to add the vram of both cards. My 1gb cards are about to get retired. My son is still rocking a gtx460 (sc version), and I thought about giving him my 6870s, but that 460 still does good for him. That's a tank of a gpu. He swears by Nvidia now, so I probably couldn't get him to switch to AMD anyways. lol

Doesn't look like it needs to. This gen is going to come down to exclusive titles. Sony came out of the gates on fire, especially after how Microsoft put their foot in their mouth with that E3 , non-game sharing, always online crap. Now it's really going to come down to each systems exclusive titles. Both of their share of them, and whether they're in 1080p, 900p, or 720p, they still look great. I've always preferred the xbox brand over the Playstation.Would i like it to be on par with Sony's system, as far as resolution capabilities? Yes. But I'm not displeased with what I've played so far on the Xbox One, and it looks like there is a lot of good looking , fun titles on the way. I plan on getting a PS4 down the road anyways, for it's signature first party titles.

@BassMan: Yep. Mainly the VRAM. I was fine about 2 , maybe 3 years ago, with my 1gb of VRAM in my crossfired 6870s,but now they're showing their age. I don't really think the requirements are coming along too fast though. Most PCs that are around 4-5 years old can still run most modern games, just by turning the settings down.

I've been gaming since the early 80s. I started out with a Sega Master System, and migrated to every single console since then, although I never got around to gaming on a PC, until maybe 4-5 years ago. I just want to enjoy most of the games available, on as many platforms as possible,except maybe handhelds. My main reason was The Witcher 2. That game blew me away, and I wasn't aware that it was gonna get a xbox360 release afterwards, so I went ahead and made the plunge. I'll had already built my son's decent gaming computers, so I figured why not. I still haven't gotten used to the keyboard and mouse controls, so thank god for the wired 360 controller. Its about time for me to update my gpus though. Still rocking the crossfired 6870s, and that 1gb of VRAM is limiting me now.
