Man this is really hard..... love Mario and Zelda. If I REALLY had to choose I would go with Mario...... I think.
Try playing the Single Player mode on a harder difficulty till you get better, and then tackle the multiplayer. Hope that helps.
I've only played 3D Land on my 3DS. Don't have a Wii-U. Wish they would put World on the Switch, which I do have.
