Either way, I'm sure the movie will end up amazing. I have yet to see it, as I don't really want to be spoiled with horrible fan-subbed versions, which are all I can find without downloading a bit torrent or going on a wild goose chase. I actually tried on You Tube, but the subbing was so horrible that I decided to quite watching it in the beginning.
Anyway, even if the synching isn't the best, I couldn't care less, it's the actual voices that matter to me. If I had a choice between mediocre voice acting and great synching, I'd take the acting over the synching anytime. I just can't wait to have this movie in my hands...we've all been waiting long enough, that's for sure.

Points all well made. Well, I've put my worries to ease in reading some reviews of the American release. The dub is supposed to go along very well with the lip animations and almost nothing but good things has been said about the voice acting. Not everyone seems to be entirely happy with Aerith, and a bit of Tifa towards the end, but other than that, from what I've read in the forums at adventchildren.net, I'm more excited now than I ever was. Only 20 days to go!
Square is a big company, and they're the best with CGI—there's no excuse for them not going back in to draw the right lip movements, if that's the case.255Loner
Amen, brotha.
Like you said I would believe that the version that was screened was the Japanese version with the English dub and that the synched version is the one they are releasing for the DVD. As to changing CG and in-game graphics that on an entirely different level and I wouldnt be surprised if they didnt do it. Movies are not games and of course what about different languages? Spanish, German, French...

Yeah, I definately kind of jumped the gun with that post. I got mad, and when I get mad, I tend to do that. I understand that a lot more work may have to be done, but does that mean that games on the PS3 will look dubbed? The PS4?
Dubbed movies aren't really something I'm used to, nor do I watch a lot of anime, so I'll just have to deal with it if it isn't in synch. It's still one hell of a movie and it'll be great to finally see it in English. I'd just prefer it if it didn't look dubbed.
Yep! As reported by adventchildren.net, the English version's lips were NOT re-animated to be in-synch with the voices!!! THEN WHAT WAS THE HOLD UP IN GETTING THIS TO THE U.S?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I'm awfully disappointed in SquareEnix. The lips animations in KH2 are PERFECTLY in-synch with the voices, and that game is HOW MUCH LONGER than AC!? Wow... I'm pissed. Yeah, I'm sure reanimating the lips in AC would have taken more time than in KH2, but the movie isn't THAT long, and there's more action than dialogue.
What a disappointment.
If you want a challenge, go for Proud Mode. I've been dying left and right... at least until I started customizing and went to a world with a lower battle level. Really, though, one boss I was fighting killed me in 2 hits. Definately leveling up before I go back.

Yup
Really, I don't know. I couldn't tell you what DiZ's motives are, what roles the King, Riku, or Roxas will play (got a theory on Roxas, though). I'm just kinda mad I've looked at all the worlds, summon, etc. When will Sora meet Kairi and Riku again? What's going on with Ansem and Riku? What are the organization's motives? All we really know is that Marluxia tried to overthrow the organization, and Axel worked as a double agent, and is loyal to the XIII. Who's the superior? (Although I think that one's pretty obvious, you never know.) Sure, we know the worlds and the majority of the characters, but I don't think anyone could have really spoiled that much for themselves. Is Ansem related to the Organization? Hades? Pete? Guess I do have quite a bit to look forward to...
