my all time fav is 3. i probably hate 8 and 9 equally the most. 8 was so slow paced that it bored me. 9 IMO had terrible level design

@darthrevenx: Did you play RE7? Nothing you said actually described this game (minus the house part, and the "crazy chick with knives and chainsaws"). The whole cannibal part that makes people say it's "House Of 1000 Corpses/Texas Chainsaw" lasted for 10 seconds and isn't touched on again, and the girl with the chainsaw is also about 10 seconds, and it's because she's possessed (which the game goes into massive detail on later on). Also, there's several part of visions from the past that you even play through.
