I think you're a must for my PS4. Add me when you get one <3.My must would be better online services (PSN). When I say that I mean auto updates, auto downloads etc. I hate when I'm ready to play online and surprise! a mandatory 2 hour update is required.
I also think it would be cool if they had an upcoming section online, like for example...Coming May 14th...Demo for MGS: Ground Zeroes...just click on it and it will auto download as soon as it's available. Then next time you fire up the PS4...voila! new demo ready to play!
And last but not least...I hope it's easy to develop for...I don't want sloppy seconds next gen...
What are all of your opinions???

From your library? That's awesome. Where do you live?

Vancouver. At last count there are currently 81 games available to borrow right now. That's not counting all the ones that are currently checked out. For the other gaming companies, 79 available for each. It's really nice on the wallet. I've played so many games I normally wouldn't since they are free. No library fees either.
Wow you got it real good. Add me on PSN. I wanna see all the random games you've played and will play.[QUOTE="getsmizacked"]How do you guys plan to get it?Kravyn81I plan to walk into a store like a normal person and buy one.I wish you the best of luck with that sir.
Ah you're one of those 50+ backlog guys, huh?[QUOTE="getsmizacked"]

I have far too many games for my PS3 and wouldn't get enough for them to even consider selling them off to afford the next console. I am waiting till the 5 is out before I consider getting a 4. If 4 has 10-15 must own titles, then I will get one after it sees it's second slimming. Got too much content to get through as is.

Not quite there yet. More like 35+. But buy the time the PS4 is released, I should have 50+. I get a lot of the games I play free from my library so I don't have to dip into my backlog. It's a blessing and a curse. Since I'm planning on sticking with the PS3 for the long haul, it's a good situation to be in.

To give you an idea of my playing tastes:
I enjoyed Sly 1 because of its classic platforming.
I finished Sly 2 but it felt like a chore because it was less platforming and less Sly.
I can't motivate myself to get past the first 2 hours of Sly 3.

I have the exact same position as you...it's unbelievable actually. Exact same experience as above, except i got to about 8-9 hours of sly 3 as opposed to 2 hours.
As for playing the Jak series - Jak 1 was ALL platforming and collecting (trust me, it becomes really tedious). But it might be worth playing though, but keep in mind you're collecting orbs for pretty much 90% of the game. Jak 2 was a GTA clone, and the difficulty was frustrating, and there was hardly any change in scenery (just a very blue, dark town). Jak 3 is arguably the best in the series, and tries to incoroporate the old (jak1's platforming and scenery) with the new (jak2's driving sequences). The only reason why you can't skip directly to jak3 is b/c you'll be missing a lot about the story - maybe you can just look it up?
You guys are all making me not wanna play through any of them lol. Especially this post. I think I'll just skip to Rachet and Clank. Thanks for the responses everyone.Check out and discuss. http://www.gamespot.com/news/ps4-prototype-controller-revealed-6403933
Please no discussion on the legitimacy of the controller. It IS real as confirmed by IGN (they're credible, right? RIGHT!???).
But let's talk about the controller itself. It is rather thick and unsightly, isn't it? And those joysticks, don't get me started.
But hey, this is a PROTOTYPE. The final version may look very different. Hopefully.
You guys think the final version is slimmer? Think the joysticks are different? How do you think it'll feel overall compared to the Dualshock 3?
One thing that took me some time to get used to going from the PS2 to the PS3 was the sensitivity in the joysticks. I felt the DS2 sticks were stiffer than the DS3 sticks. How do you think the Dualshock 4, if it's even called that, will compare?
I missed out on a lot of last gen. To give you an idea of my playing tastes:

So based on the above ^^^, I'm guessing the first Jak would be my style, right?
Should I bother with 2 and 3?
Good question. Right now, I do plan to make the PS4 a day one purchase. Unless February 20th disappoints me that badly.
I have a better question though. How do you guys plan to get it?
Me personally, I'm looking to camp out with friends. Probably bring our 3DSes along and chill all night. It'll be cold sure, but this is California people. It doesn't snow or anything.

[QUOTE="getsmizacked"]Hey, my PC is great too. But Sony exclusives are what I'm in it for. Particularly Gran Turismo. I've said that a lot but I'll say it again. i have to play the current oneI think you do too. Add me on PSN when you get around to playing it.[QUOTE="kriggy"]
I have no idea, but I don't think that I will ever feel like I have to buy the next Playstation console because I have a decent gaming PC that will most likely stand the test of next gen.
