no? well shut up
[QUOTE="geordie73"][QUOTE="Sihanouk"]I read recently about how people in foreign countries peceive the United States. I was surprised how the US was viewed rather negatively by the world. A lot of the negativity was due to how the US handles Iraq, the arrogance of it all.
Negative perception of America = negative perception of the 360?
I know the 360 will have a hard time in Japan regardless of the war. But in Europe, 360 sales are declining rapidly relative to the PS3. Could it be because of the Iraq war? To me, the war plays a role. A small role or a large one? I am not sure.

????? the negative perception of america. not just the war in the middle east my friend. you can also add denying 3rd world countries aid and refusing to wipe debt, carbon emissions, bully boy tactics in industry, us companies buying water rights of poor countries, decimating natural habitats for fossil fuels etc etc,and this is coming from a friend of america! imagine what the people who hate you must think! but stop. this is sw wars not political debate. so to your question. hell no
The need for Fossil Fuels is a reason to hate America? Well you better put China up on your hate list because they use quite a bit themselves, and with the economic growth driving up fast and with that amount of people living there they could surpass the U.S. We don't help 3rd world countries? Why don't the third world countries get a decent government in that knows hows to apply the rule of law and they wouldn't be so poor, you ever hear of corruption? Bully Boy tactics? Don't give me that crap about decimating natural habitats, every damn country in the world needs resources and they are going to do whatever it takes to get them. :|
sigh's i dont want to do this
the us is a huge consumer of oil, the us voters demand cheap fuel to drive those ridiculously huge cars, if the price of oil went up voters would oust anyone who did that, because so many us politicians and business men have a vested interest in oil companies there is no way they want to see alternatives even discussed. do you seriously think bush would have anything to do with the middle east if it wasn't for this fact?
now i could go on forever about the us involvement with 3rd world countries, but heres 2. the us(because of their silly views on sex/safe sex/abortion) have refused poor aids/hiv ridden countries condoms and sex education. the us (and many western countries) have supported dictatorships when it has been to their advantage and pulled out as soon as there is nothing left to milk
again oil raises it's ugly head when it comes to natural environments, take alaska, where an unspoilt area is begin developed with no regard to the people and wildlife that live there, again so you can drive a big car cheaply
i'm going to stop now, sorry to all for being so off topic, but he got my goat
There must be something wrong with me, because I find it hard to care what any of Europe thinks about America.
Canvas_Of_Flesh
and thats were the problem lies, but not just europe, the entire world (cos there is one outside of america). can i ask a question, when did a team from a country other than america win the world series?:P

[QUOTE="Cute_Red_Panda"]Say your post is right. Where else does it lead to? Why make this argument? Don't act like Nintendo wanted the Wii to be a graphic power house. The key goal Nintendo wanted gamers to understand was gameplay is the most important aspect of gaming.

I'd hope this would lead to less ports, less trash, and more time spent on good controls. Look at the Force Unleashed Wii version, it doesn't seem to be just a port, but specifically designed for the Wii ground up by a special team.
but it's the same team doing the ps2 and psp version
