@renegadesteve: Rest assured that nothing has been deleted, it's still there. Was there something specific you wanted?

Apologies for intruding, just wanted to say that I was a GS Mod back when the site migration happened in 2013, and at that time the content of the old Hardware Forum, AV Forum and PC/Mac Forums was merged together, so any posts made before that time in any three should now be inside the PC forum.

Of course it may have changed since I left the team (I haven't really been active on GS since January 2014), so feel free to correct me! :)

@LarkAnderson: Cheers Lark; I knew if I left it long enough someone would spot it! :)

When Dead Rising came out in 2006, I think we could safely say "the zombie theme is overdone". I have no idea what it is these days.

For it's day, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Spent so much time with that game.

These days I might go for something like Sleeping Dogs or even Red Faction: Guerrilla. That's not even mentioning Minecraft...

I wanted to explain my absence lately. I finally had surgery on December 9. Although I left the hospital the next day by my own insistence, the recovery has been tough.

Anyway I am glad it's finally done. It took months to even get medical clearance to have surgery, so I feel like a weight has been lifted now that it's finished, and despite having issues with the recovery, my latest follow-up doctor visit this previous Monday seems to show everything is in the clear, indicating that the recovery issues are all minor things that will eventually subside.

Hopefully I can be more active as this comes to an end. I ask for some patience as I progress through the rest of the recovery.

I hope you're doing ok m0zart. Wishing you a speedy recovery. :)

Played Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. Yeah it's a good game and it does get pretty emotional near the end, but I think I enjoyed the visual aesthetic over the story. And my fingers ached like hell after holding the gamepad triggers for such a long time. :P

Regards to the new consoles, but everything I've seen with the possible exception of Dead Rising 3 disinterests me. Also given there was a PC version of Dead Rising 2 I have hopes Capcom will have kept the door open for DR3.

I only have time for one podcast in my life; Giant Bomb's Giant Bombcast. Still your number one source for all the hot topics from the world of video games.
