This is possibly the best thing shown at E3 and yet hardly anybody saw it. :(
How's the running around?
Looks like a truly great game. Question is whether just one great new game can support an entire console launch. I guess we're about to find out.
The Movies was a great game. I have no idea what Mark had against it.
The other two thirds are of course off making TF2 hats or designing Dota pets or CS:GO gun skins or whatever Valve does these days. What they're most definitely not doing is working on Ricochet 2. That's certain.
I always come back to this article when I think about Ubisoft. Yves still hasn't apologized for calling 95% of PC players pirates.
Coming to this story late, but I've purchased games from GMG for getting on for five years, and in that time I've only ever had good experiences. The recent change to GMG Credit was very disappointing (only giving customers a month to spend their remaining credit before it was erased), but overall my view of the site has remained decidedly positive. I wasn't involved in the Battlefront business that did seem rather worrying.
Their "ban" from this sub-Reddit does feel a little like a smear campaign; there are other sites which the sub-Reddit allows which seem to follow just the same business practices as GMG. Furthermore, as GMG are based in the UK, they pay Corporation Tax on their income (unlike Valve, who just pay the low Luxembourg tax because they offshore their sales).
To each his own; this seems like a relatively polarizing game. PC Gamer gave it a 93.
Very important video. Possibly the best one Danny's done yet. I expect nothing less from him. :)
