I'm 21 and own a Onyx DS Lite. Many of my friends have one and most people these days know what a DS is. I feel no shame in going around the DS section at Target.

Looking at the list of DS games out... Most of them arn't my style.

I'd like some recomendations for me... Come on anything good.

T_T No phantom hourglass recomendations people... OR TWEWY or Phoenix Wright or Hotel Dusk or Kirrby or... [List goes on.]

Well Final Fantasy Tactics A2 is really good. Also, if you're a GH fan, GH:OT is good (though mind the small track list). The Castlevania games are a lot of fun. I guess the question is, what is your style?

Oops, according to afterdawn.com, DVD-9 has approximately 7.95GB of space.

guys could u plz tell me which one would better for me to buy

Here are somethings to consider when ur answering

*Games

*Online gaming

*Graphics

*Which one is better when not playing games as in music, movies etc..

*What is the capacity of their discs

psrocks

Well for games, I would definitely suggest looking at the library for each console. I personally went with the 360, but the PS3 has some good games coming out (or recently released).

For online stuff, most people will give props to Xbox Live, it's probably the best out there now though PSN has been getting a good number of improvements, plus it's free. Live costs something around $50 USD a year which isn't TERRIBLE, but it's all about what you are willing to do.

Graphics: Eh, both look great. For the PS3, definitely look at games such as MGS4 and Uncharted, whereas for the 360, Halo 3, Mass Effect, and GoW2 are some good examples.

Other than gaming, both have perks. Blu-Ray won the format war, which is a definite boost for the PS3 since it'll be able to play the Blu-Ray discs out of the box. However I recently started to use the movie rental service offered by Xbox Live, for a few bucks you can virtually rent a move (in standard or HD), or TV show; which will download to your hard drive, once it gets somewhere around 75% completed, you can start watching it and it'll just keep downloading the rest. Since you're required to (and most people do anyway) have a high speed Internet connection, it doesn't take long to download. Both can play CD's and with the 360 (and I'd assume the PS3 too), you can plug in your iPod or any mp3 player and play music off of that. Also, with my setup, I have my tower on the same network as my Xbox, so I can pull any music, images, or movies off of my PC and play them on my TV. I can't speak for much with the PS3 aside from the Blu-Ray perk since I don't have one.

For disc capacity, 360 uses DVD-9 which I think has 9GB of space and the PS3 uses Blu-Ray which is about 25GB. Obviously you can fit a lot more on a Blu-Ray in terms of games (look at MGS4), but regardless, you can get a good amount of stuff onto the DVD-9 disc.

Hope this helps you out a little. Like I said, I went the 360 route and have been really happy with my purchase. But really, it all boils down to what you're looking for personally.

I used to be a big PC gamer, and the big reason why I stopped the hardcore PC gaming stuff is because of the price. I had a lot of fun with what was there, but now that a lot of the PC games are shipping alongside a 360 version (minus any MMO), I figured it'd just be cheaper to get the 360 version than needing to upgrade my PC all the time. Granted I don't get to play games like Crysis, but that's why I'm friends with a hardcore PC gamer, I just use his :D Once I graduate college and get a better job, there's a good chance I'll get back into PC stuff. But as for now, I'm with the 360 and Xbox LIVE.

As for the comment that there are only kids on LIVE...that's a bit of an exaggeration. Yeah, I'll run into the occasional 11 year old, but they're only a mute button away from being tolerable. Normally though, I just keep to my friends list and my Friend's friends.
