I'm sorry, but its not the "direction" that makes this game bad. It's the crappy story, the horrible controls and mechanics, the tedious gameplay, etc. This game is just bad. I would have given it a 5.5 at most.

If Capcom wanted to increase margins, they should have focused on improving on the RE4 formula, not changing the game to copy the bland North American FPS formula. Kinda ironic since imitating that formula serves to halt the series' development, not drive it forward.

I hope EA goes bankrupt and sells off all its IP to a publisher who understands the industry and its fans. I only feel sorry for the employees that are going to get laid off...

I like the freedom and gameplay of Just Cause, but no one finished the Just Cause story because it was a bad story...
