@farwander: I think it's just what people do on the internet, hating on things just to hate. I personally love the game, and i think it's the best AC to date :D

I absolutely love this game, and i don't even really care for Assassin's Creed at all. I can understand that people that have been playing every installment of the franchise are bored at this point, but as a game by itself, it's been such a joyful experience, and i find the rating is well deserved.

The game is actually very fun. I'd recommend everyone to go try it out. It also runs flawless.

The recommended specs are pretty spot-on - for once! except the ram.

Just for comparison i run a 2nd gen i5 + gtx 970 and i play in 1440p stable 60fps - and that is while recording in 1440p 60fps as well!

All these comments just proves that people only comment on the internet when they have something to rage about( or sometimes just making things up because gotta ride the bandwagon). When in fact the win 10 upgrade has been smooth sailing for most people.

First the hugely disappointing sim city last year and now this ? what is going on ?

@dpclark well you can just walk out of it and run around on planets, do spacewalks, board space station (fps style), it's a persistent huge online universe :D

@holtrocks should had been out in december :( hopefully the next modules in line should get out faster, since they now got a working custom backend

Maybe i'm biased because i look at games like Black Desert and Star Citizen, but the character animations are extremely poor for a 2014 game, it feels like an Indie game. Am i really forced to play Asian grinders to get any sense of impact and decent animations ?

The game world itself also becomes boring to look at fast, with limited view distance and a strong sense of de-saturation - some will say it's realistic, but in any case it becomes boring to look at fast, same goes with armor and weapons.

The game is overall not bad, but it's not really good either, it sure as hell is not anywhere near what i'd expect from a 2014 release. i'll be waiting on black Desert.

edit: i played up to VR3 and a few alts in the 15-25 range as well, so I've logged enough hours to get a good feeling for the game.
