Well. It's good that they at least know what we want. But I'm just doubtful that they can do it. Have they really learned from their mistakes? I feel like they've said things like that in the past and then kept churning out crappy games. I'm choosing to be cautiously optimistic though ... I'll at least save the hate until after I've seen the first trailer.

I'll wait for the reviews to see if U4 has made the series feel fresh again. It's a good series but by the third one it was feeling pretty stale.

Well that's what you get when you have a chubby faced protagonist ... a 6!

TP holds up because it was a great game at the time of its release. They didn't have much to fix except a few minor things here and there. People still gripe about the graphics and the slow opening sequence but ... boo hoo. The graphics suit the darker tone of the game and the stuff before the first dungeon is not that bad.

Who cares about this game? It's a complete slap in the face to Metroid fans.

We've gone nearly 6 years now without a proper Metroid game. Nothing has been announced for the future meaning if there ever is a proper Metroid game again, it's still years away... FF is the only thing we have.

And to make things worse they take a potentially interesting concept, pirates vs the galactic federation, and squander it on a multiplayer 3DS game with chibi graphics that look like an original DS launch title. Oh but at least Samus, the star of the series, gets a little cameo! Oh yeah!

It's amazing how far Nintendo has fallen in the last decade or so. Are they that delusional to think this is what any Metroid fan wants? Of course they are ... look at the latest youtube video on their channel for this game. They disabled the likes because they know everyone hates it. They're just choosing to ignore our feedback and soldier on with this crap.

And the truly frustrating part is, once this game fails because no one wanted it in the first place, Nintendo will say "Well, guess no one is interested in Metroid games anymore". Lol **** the **** off, Nintendo.

They really flubbed this. Why is this a multi player minigame? The pirates vs the federation is something fans have been speculating on for years ... it should have been a glorious console game in the style of the other Prime games. Not this crap on the 3DS.

@pikanoob: a "superb" game can have flaws ... that's why it received a 9 and not a 10. Also I don't know why everyone shits all over Twilight Princess's graphics ... they're not bad. Better than Skyward Sword's anyway...

@sebastiaan: you sure you don't have your games mixed up? TP was a great Zelda game. SS was definitely a misstep.
