This is a great game, but its just not the ground breaking game changer that some articles claim. In fact I'm actually disappointed with it. Between this and AC3 or GTA4 I think I'd rather buy the other two again then this. Again, its a great game, its just not everything it should have been or could have been.

Another "Rush to the defense of a Game Developer" article from Laura Parker. Whether or not games are art is irrelevant. What is relevant is that all games are consumer goods. We as consumers expect not to be deceived by game makers who tell us we will get multiple different endings and instead provide us with one ending with different perspectives.

Seems to me this is another one of those "aim here" articles. Point is, game makers charge too much for their games and then try to get higher sales by promising awesome content that doesn't live up to the hype. I really have no problem paying $60 for a good game, nor do i have a problem with paying $10 to $15 for DLC's, add-on's, or expansions. Its being told im getting one thing when im not getting anything at all. Its the add-on's that are made out to look like a big deal, but in truth nothing more then a simple extra character with a few voiced lines. If a $60 game sells just 100000 copies, the makers have made 6 million dollars. That's not a hard thing these days with advertising. Why would any company that can make that much money with its top game (EA, Bethesda, Activision, Capcom) need to swindle players out of $10 or $20 dollars more with DLC?
