That answer doesn't address the core concerns that people have. The concerns are that people wanted an experience akin to a multiplayer WW2 re-enactment, and instead they're getting a sandbox. I know that Battlefield has always had a sandbox in that you can experiment with physics and do dumb bullshit, but on a game by game basis you don't see three people on a horse. In BF1 you see charges of young men into battle, and young women too where it is historically accurate, all with correct uniform. People are worried that immersion is going to be cheapened not just by the fact that you can pick your sex, but the fact that you can completely ignore the uniform conventions of the faction you're playing as and do what you want in that regard. I think DICE needs to reconsider.

If they want to show the women in the war, they need to do it properly. French resistance faction anybody? How about Russia? How about actually tackling the sexism that prevented young women from fighting in the military even when they wanted to? There's so many ways to deal with the issue of women in WW2 in a realistic, historically accurate, and above all, interesting ways that would make the game richer. Allowing people to just be what they want in these WW2 battles cheapens the whole experience.

@Arkhalipso: 1. It would be very difficult for Sony to implement BC because the Cell is unlike any other processor architecture. Sony are in a disadvantageous position with this that they can't change due to how their previous console was built.

2. Microsoft have a different head and were in a completely different direction at the launch of the Xbox One.

3. You should be glad that they're heading in a more pro consumer direction, Sony feel that they don't have to do crossplay because they have the market share. We all know where arrogance can get you in this industry.

@DeltaCobra: This is more action oriented than The Witcher 3. I loved The Witcher 3 and enjoyed this game massively, but I think I prefer TW3 because it has more variety. This game definitely has more actiony combat but it's also very samey at times.

The story is fantastic, but sometimes the gameplay just starts to feel like your regular old open world checkbox game. Definitely a solid 8/10.

So if you kill a guy who's frozen on your screen due to your connection being crap, they'll just drop dead as soon as that data pings the server? This is gonna be really annoying I can already tell. Also this blows out of the water the digital foundry reasoning for no 60fps, they're just fucking lazy when it comes to the engine.
