Gamescom 2019 Press Conference Schedule & News Recap
The Witcher 3 Switch Port Release Date Announced, Coming In October
It's almost time to open the gates. Oh boy!
@jsprunk: Notice how they call the servers WoW Classic servers and not Wow Vanilla servers? Because this "WoW Classic" isn't going to be Vanilla at all with its sharding, loot trade, and other quality of life crap that didn't exist in WoW at the time. The hardcore people who fought for WoW Vanilla servers to be released are gonna be livid if Blizz keeps up the route it's going.
@waven101: It's unfortunately VERY dated. Would've been great is Everquest Next didn't fall apart.
@Terrorantula: 1st one was Ruins of Kunark I believe, and then Scars of Velious was the 2nd one where they added all that ice-themed stuff from Velious. The moon one you quit at was Shadows of Luclin when they updated all the player models.
20 years and still kicking. I wonder why? Oh right, they add actual content and not Loot Boxes nor Micro-transaction Shops.
@jsprunk: Empty? It's still got over a million players worldwide. That's more than most MMOs these days.
@RSM-HQ: That's what worries me since last DOOM was an insane success with its singleplayer. Because if GS likes something, it's usually shite in the last few years.
A lot of people bashing the game for lack of content seem to think that Sea of Thieves is a MMO. if they were right and if it was a MMO, then they would be completely 100% right that this game is an incomplete piece of crap that is more in quality of an indie game at 1/3 the price than what it was sold for.
HOWEVER, they couldn't be more wrong. Sea of Thieves is an OPEN WORLD SANDBOX GAME WITH ONLINE COMPONENTS. A sanbox game (Minecraft, Ark, No Man's Sky, Terraria) is a game that is not necessarily story-driven and leaves the world open for the player to make of what they wish of it. So, in Sea of Thieve's case, it leaves the world open for you, the player, to build their own story as a rising pirate legend.
Not knowing what this game is I searched it up.... it's pretty much Legend of Zelda meets Attack on Titan.
See? Ubisoft needs to add this to The Division. I bet you money a lot more people will come back to play it again.
