I've not played Sonic Colours, I don't play my Wii often and I was disappointed that it hadn't appeared on other systems. But I've heard some mixed views on it.

It would be good to see Sonic Team make this game into a truly remarkable Sonic game, if they can do that then Sonic fans, maybe, might have their faith restored in the team.
Though is this game coming out for the 360 as well? I don't own a PS3.

Yes, its for 360 and PS3 and being released towards the end of the year. Incase any Wii owners are reading this and wondering why it's not on Wii, Sonic Team said it's because this was designed with HD being an important aspect to the game. There are rumors that it will be announced for the new Nintendo HD/Project Cafe after Nintendo has announced their new system.... Just rumors/speculation at this point though.

The game looks promising so far, I hope they'll have done a good job with the controls for the 3D aspects since that's where previous Sonic games have usually fallen flat on due to a camera that has the most horrible timing when you're trying to get a good jump, only for the controls to react suddenly to the camera switch and send you falling to your death.

This looks promising though, here's hoping they get both the 2D and 3D parts spot on and as fun as possible. Be fun to find out.

Sonic Colors was IMO a big improvement in all areas including the camera system... hopefully they will continue to improve everything even further. I can't believe I'm saying it, but I actually have faith in Sonic Team... at least a lot more than I used to.

[QUOTE="JigglyWiggly_"]I disagree. It is the worst idea evar. Because like, that Sonic is pure, and untainted. Now they are going to bring their loserness into him and taint him and ruin him. Classic Sonic is for true warriors like myself, and should have no relationship to that green eyed lozer.

I don't like having to look at the modern Sonic at all either, but the good news is every zone is playable with classic Sonic... So while you will have to look at that abomination from time to time, as well as him being there standing next to Sonic on the box art and stuff, I'm assuming you won't ever have to actually play as him if you don't want to.

Well I have no comment about the games themselves, but I am bitter towards them because Kojima always seems to put making yet another MGS ahead of a sequel to Zone of the Enders... A game a lot of people have been waiting for for 7 or 8 years. ZOE 3 Kojima, please...

"Also, I'm so fricken sick of Green Hill Zone by now -_-" Yeah I know what you mean... but it's the actual Green Hill Zone as opposed to a level inspired by it. That makes me excited because of the music. The idea of playing through those levels in 3D along with remixes of that music...wow. The 16 bit Sonc soundtracks were legendary. Actually most Sonic games have good music, that's one thing they almost always do right. I'm hoping for Starlight, Hill Top, a lot of Sonic CD, Ice Cap and Launch Base from Sonic 3,.. I also hope they put some stuff in from Sonic 2006. I would love to be able to play smoothed out updated versions of Crisis City and Kingdom Valley.

It's not about nothing. The original Sonic that came out in 1991 was once of the top 3 most significant gaming experiences of my life. Part of the enthrallment was the character design by Naoto Ōshima. I know it sounds over dramatic, but for many of us, Sonic really truly does feel like a different character these days. That's how much he has changed to many of us. It has felt like that for a long time now. To say it doesn't matter, is basically to say art within games don't matter. I never meant to suggest anyone is a "fake" fan so lighten up!! Don't take it so seriously guys. I just feel the franchise that people are fans of these days is a different one from what many of us were fans of on 16 bit. The tone just changed so much... It was the original Sonic that rode high and took over the world. It was that version of Sonic that tens of millions of people fell in love with, and it's just nice to see him back. Anyway, the main point of my post was suppose to be a look at what Green Hill Zone might look like. It looks good. I think this game is going to have stuff almost any type of Sonic fan can get into.

All they did was make him taller and change his eyes to green. We're not really talking Dante-type transformations here. Sonic was the first game I ever played and I've been in love with the series ever since and I like modern Sonic more.

I can honestly say he almost feels like a completely different character to me... its more then just green eyes or whatever. That's how much I feel like he has changed.... I'm not the only one who feels like this. Visuals and art in character-driven games like this is important. Nobody is a fake fan, but if anyone has felt like their opinions haven't mattered, its classic fans. We have been ignored for 16 years.

Some Green Hill Zone in there... and behind that it looks like another zone but not sure which... Then of course seeing the modern Sonic posing next to the classic (real) Sonic makes it even more obvious how bad the modern Sonic model sucks! THIS is Sonic!!!!! I missed u Sonic

There are more Dreamcast ports to PSN/Live on the way and JSR is probably going to be one of them........ And I have to say I don't trust Sega to not mess up that conversion. The Sonic Adventure port sucked. So as much as I would love a new Jet Set Radio, if they can't even port old DC games well, I dont have much faith that they could create a brand new game that didn't suck. If they made one, I would hope they would go to great lengths to get back as much of the original team members as possible and be careful with it. I don't want Sega f%c*ing around with my Jet Set.

Are you using wireless internet? It may not be getting a good enough signal. If possible, hook it up to a network cable and see if it happens then. If not, either move your router closer, move whatever might be causing electrical interference(tv, radios, microwaves, etc,) or just leave it connected to the wire. If you aren't using wireless I just typed all that for nothing:(. Good luck.guynamedbilly
I'm on wireless and the signal is decent.... but yeah I did try it with a wired connection just now and it's still doing the same thing. I don't understand much about how PSN operates... like if certain areas of the country have problems(relating to PSN not local internet provider) while other areas don't. It's been like this for almost a week now. I get different error codes, if I do get online things are slow and I get a lot of those broken window symbols in the PS Store, in PS Home it took 5 minutes once to build my avatar... it's just acting weird all around.
